It was mid summer in Florida, which is basically hell in earth. So as most people would do, the mindscape of Thomas's mind, turned on the AC as much as possible.
Due to, mind magic, the lowest the AC could get, is about 40° F. Patton, being the dad, was in control of the AC of the entire mindscape. He had completely forgotten about the cold-blooded side that lived among them all.
Roman bounces into the living room of the mindscape, in shorts and a baggy tank top, looking at Patton, and moved to speak up "Padre, got a question for ya" Successfully gaining the father figures attention.
"Hm? Whatcha need kiddo?" Patton asked lightly, moving to sit up. "How low is the AC at right now?" Roman questioned, needing to know to see how Janus, his boyfriend, was doing.
"It's at about 43°. Why?" Patton asked, earning a groan in response. Roman knew that Patton keeps forgetting that Janus is part reptile, there for cold-blooded.
The princely of the two quickly sunk out, seeing his boyfriend cuddled up under like, what, 10 blankets. He chuckled lightly, moving to sit on Janus's bed "Cold?" Roman asked lightly
"No" Janus lied, moving to lift the blankets, allowing Roman to slip under, pulling the shivering side, into a hug, cuddling him softly.
The two ended up falling asleep, and by the time they woke up, it was warmer then before, and Janus was warmer.
