as soon as arabella was dropped back at sway she ran into the house, excited and determined to get started on noah's present.
"what's go you in a rush?", bryce asked from the kitchen, laughing at the girl.
arabella entered the kitchen to see bryce standing with noah. arabella spotted noah and decided now wasn't the best time to tell bryce about what she was going to do.
"um, nothing," she lied.
"ooo, are you gonna text that waiter dude?", bryce asked with a laugh.
arabella felt awkward her brows furrowing when she looked at noah's hardened look.
"i'm going now," the girl rolled her eyes and laughed, heading up the stairs to her room.
noah gave bryce a tight lipped smile.
"um, i'm gonna go lay down, my head hurts. i'm lowkey really tired," noah sighed.
bryce nodded, he knew that noah must've been lying but he decided against saying anything. noah made his way upstairs, ignoring the strange feeling in his chest at the idea of arabella dating some guy. he knew it was stupid, he convinced himself it wa s because he doesn't want to se ever get hurt.
noah walked down his and arabella's hallway, but stopped upon hearing her voice. she was in her room, clearly on the phone to someone.
noah didn't want to be nosy but he couldn't help himself from eavesdropping. he was curious.
"no, addi, i'm not going to tell noah, and you're not either," arabella deadpanned, sounding serious.
noah frowned, what was she keeping from him? he furrowed his brows, slightly annoyed and confused as to why his bestfriend was keeping something from him. he didn't want to hear anymore, entering his bedroom, shutting the door behind him with a sigh.
he layed on his bed face down. he was just confused really. he couldn't understand why on earth she was keeping something that sounded so serious from him. didn't she trust him? noah knew that arabella didn't need to tell him everything of course, he respected her like that. but considering she's clearly told other people but not him, made him feel slightly uneasy.
he knew it was stupid but he wanted to know if bella was going to text that guy. so that why he found himself making his way to her bedroom door, he knocked twice but there was no answer, so he entered the room, because they both done that. if the person didn't answer they just walked into each other's room.
