it was now christmas eve! the group had spent the whole day making things and eating candy and baked goods. later on they were going to make gingerbread houses with a twist, they were going to compete with each other and make stupid gingerbread houses. arabella and jaden teamed up with each other and decided they were going to make a gingerbread crackhouse. arabella was so looking forward to this.

arabella had just finished recording her song, she set her guitar away and went through the video to make sure that she sounded at least half decent. she sent the video to addison, to see what she thought. addison spammed arabella, freaking out and crying over how beautiful the song was.

arabella replied to addison, chuckling at her best friends reaction. the girl input all the information onto youtube and typed a description, turning off the comments too. she took in a deep breath, her thumb hovering over the post button.

she couldn't help but wonder if she could actually do this. she wasn't ready to show the whole world her voice, she was terrified. being in the spotlight she fears posting things, because one tiny mistake or slip up could make her cancelled or over. she hated it, she feared every day.

she found herself to be one of the unproblematic influencers, she stood up for important causes, she defended the good people and called out the bad. she was just nervous.

being in the spotlight entailed hate, and that was normal and arabella always tried make sure that she didn't let it get to her. but this was different. she was putting herself out there and showing everyone something she's hid for so long. she never sings in front of people, ever, so this was a pretty terrifying experience for her. and there was also the added issue of people making up theories of who the song is about, or what it's about etc. and that would be pretty hard to avoid, but she knew it couldn't be prevented.

arabella closed her eyes, taking one final breath and pressing on the post button. she quickly went off the page, too scared to watch it upload. with shaky hands she began to text noah.
