"You're not okay." Minji asked the girl. "I am though." Haneul replied. It was now the next day, and Haneul, went through her whole schedule yesterday, barely, finishing her classes.
The thing that surprised her friend the most is that, she didn't cry. She told her the whole thing that happened with Sam and as much as Minji wants to also beat the guy up, well she can't, she's proud that Haneul was able to stand up for herself.
Though, as much as the girl seemed fine, Minji did hear her crying in her room, thus the puffy eyes, but luckily, the glasses were a great way of covering it up.
"Haneul, I'm going to go to see Donghyun okay? I'll be back in a few."
"Okay, enjoy!" She then winked at her friend as she walked away.
"Welp, here I am, indirectly getting called single." She said standing up, walking towards the cafeteria.
"Sam?" The boy was now standing in front of her. People were now looking at them, whispering a lot.
"Please Haneul, comeback to me please." People's eyes were now wide. "No." She bluntly said, walking away from the scene.
"Haneul, please!" The boy begged, holding onto her wrist. "I said no!"
"Everyone!" Just then Sam shouted, getting everyone's attention, well as if everyone's not looking at them already.
'what are you doing?' she mouthed to him.
"Did you know that Haneul and I were a thing before? Before all of this happened!" His gripped tightened on her wrist, the same one as yesterday. Haneul, was now confused, mostly angered. It was obvious that she was in pain, because of the boy's grip. "Stop it Sam!" A boy said, ripping Sam's hand off of Haneul's.
"Luke?" The girl said. "Don't even continue. I know that you're going to keep on blaming her." Luke was about to pull the girl out of there, but she was not backing out.
"Me? Blame me all you want, but remember that we were both involved in that "relationship" we were both at fault." She then walked closer to the male. "Do you want me to expose you? About what you do to the guys in those pictures?" Haneul whispered, keeping on a cold façade.
This was a new side of Haneul. 'woah, how the- maybe it's because of my hormones.' the girl thought, as her lie about her girl problem yesterday, came true last night.
She never felt so powerful against the guy she loved, the guy she wanted to protect, the guy that also broke her. She was now happy, that she was starting to stand up for herself.... andalsoblackmailingheralmostpotentiallover.
Sam glared at her while Luke pulled the girl out of there, taking her to one of the benches outside. "That was cool!" The girl exclaimed. "You're proud of yourself, aren't you?"
