What Goes Around Comes Around

I feel exhausted. I thought as I sat on the floor of the empty examination room.

I exhaled a quiet breath, resting my back against the examination bed. I just finished doing a coronary artery bypass and I've been standing for six hours.

I took my phone out of my pocket just to check if Ciel had texted and I smiled because he did. He sent five text messages.

Ciel:

Hey, baby. Here at the hotel already

Ciel:

I know you're busy saving lives

Ciel:

So take your time. You look hot when you save lives

Ciel:

I'm gonna take a shower now. Do you think I look hot when I take a shower?

Ciel:

I bit my bottom lip to prevent myself from laughing out loud. He's being silly again and I love it. I love how his text could lighten up my day and take all my exhaustion away.

I love how supportive he is. He never complains with my late replies. He never complains everytime he's home and I have to spend my time inside the OR. He understands my work and he never complained with my working hours. And everytime I come home to him, looking like shit because I haven't had enough sleep, he would always say that I look hot when I'm exhausted or when I lack sleep.

Ang sarap maging boyfriend ng isang Ciel Alfieri. With all those seven months that I spent with him, they were all memorable and every single second was worth it. Kahit hindi kami madalas magkasama dahil sa trabaho namin, we would always make our time together worth it. But of course, there were some times that we disagree such as when he leaves the wet towel on the bed or when I'm being bitchy over small things. Pagsasabihan niya lang ako kapag ganoon pero hindi naman kami nag-aaway nang malala.

Maybe that's why my parents loved him so much, kasi noon pa man kahit magkaibigan pa lang kami ay nakikita na nila ang maturity ni Ciel. He knows how to handle a successful and ambitious woman so well. Me being at the top of my career doesn't make him feel less of a man. Sobrang supportive niya sa lahat ng mga gusto kong gawin at ganoon din naman ako sa kanya.
