Well This Isn't Good

I followed snoop though the camp, waiting to attack Texas. "When are we taking over Texas?"

"Now," snoop smiled, pulling out his phone and typing a sentence, "Every person who has ever been to Texas relaxes. They all slowly get into the road and march towards New York, blank and ready to serve snoop,"

"Now that that's fine, I don't like how you are wanting to serve me. It would be so much more fun having you not know whats going on,"

He typed out more on his phone and I read it, "Percy walks over to the bench and sits there, unable to move anything but his head. His senses return to normal,"

I felt everything come flooding back, and I hated how much control he had over me. Maybe I should just give in. Maybe I should let him do whatever.

Snoop smiled as he walked away, leaving Leo to just stare blankly at me. But the moment snoop was out of earshot Leo ran over to me.

I turned to look at him, a mix of confusion and happiness blurred on my face. Before I could say anything he attacked me with a hug like the one I gave him earlier.

There was no words to describe how much I wanted to hug him, but I literally couldn't move. "How are you not—well, you know,"

"I was in bunker nine but I managed to see what the phone said, so I acted like it. But man was that boring,"

I gave a slight smile, "what the heck are we supposed to do now?"

"I don't know. I don't even know what I'm feeling and what's fake, and it scares me," Leo said.

I mustered all the strength I had and put my arm around him, pulling him close. Leo just rested his head on my shoulder and I laid mine on his head.

"We need to think of a plan. We can't just stay here forever," Leo said.

"But what about Lafayette?"

"What?"

"Have you an ounce of regret? You accumulate debt, you accumulate power yet in their hour of need you forget,"

"Lafayettes a smart man he'll be fine, and before he was your friend he was mine,"

We burst out laughing but it ended in silence. Even Hamilton (the bets musical ever) couldn't cheer us up.

This was an all new low.

"Percy, we have to leave. We might be able to get Thalia because she wasn't always here but there's no way we can get everyone,"

I nodded, though I hated this idea. "We can't do much. But I'll go get thalia, you pack and we'll leave as soon as possible,"

He nodded as well and we parted ways. I walked over to Thalia casually, who nervously smiled at me. "Hey, um, Percy, could we talk?"

"Yeah,"

We remained silent for a moment before both saying "snoops changed your mind and he's evil,"

"You know!" We both screamed.

"Of course I know!"

"Hold on," she stopped me, "does anyone else know?"

"Just Leo. We are leaving now but I came over to you because you are the only other one who had a chance at coming out if the trance,"

"Okay, lets go meet up with him,"

"You go ahead. I'm gonna stay here for a second,"

She eyes me curiously but left anyway. I walked around the hermes cabin. This was really where I had thought I stayed?

"Hello percy," I heard a familiar voice behind me. I nearly attacked him but a word stopped me, "sit down,"

Without wanting too, I did. "How did you-"

"Do that? I still have the ability of hypnosis and the power of the gods. Which means I knew you, Leo, and Thalia weren't under my spell. Thalia I expected, and Leo was never meant to be under my spell,"

"What?"

"I thought you understood this by now. Watching you suffer is fun, so I made sure you will suffer,"

"How?"

Snoop laughed before talking in a soothing voice, "don't focus on questions. Questions scare you. Everything scares you. Your gonna die because everything is evil and out to get you,"

I nodded as I realized how much everything was gonna kill me. I was gonna die. There was nothing I could do to save myself.

"But there is a way for you to feel better. Me. As long as you are near me you will be better. And the longer you are near me the more you want to be my best friend and serve me,"

I smiled and moved closer, letting snoop save me because he was so great (insert gag here)

"But you won't feel this way until you hear your name for a third time. You will forget this conversation and make your way back over to Leo and Thalia, now go,"

I walked out of the cabin and over to Thalia and Leo, getting ready to leave. Thankfully, I hadn't run into snoop.
