I collapse on the ground after hardcore practice. Comeback in 2 days! Being an idol is hard specially when you debuted only a year ago and your group is struggling to gain fans.

I always wanted to be an idol ever since I was a kid. I am 18 years old and lead vocal and sub rapper of a 5 member girl group debuted with a fantasy concept under P Nation. Joohyun unnie is the oldest then our leader Cherry unnie, I'm the middle child then after me Jihyo and Wendy.

I look up to BTS alot. I have been an army for eight years now, it's nice to see them doing so well after so much struggle. I hope me and my group mates can overcome our fears and problems just like them too.

My bias is Namjoon, RM, leader of BTS. I swear I was going to pass out when I saw them performing right infront of me few months ago in an award show. I tried hard to hold back my screams but I still murmured their fanchant along with other armys. I wish I could show off more of myself in front of camera. The struggle is on different level when you are an introverted idol.

I have said in interviews in the past that I love BTS so I don't think it will be a big deal to unleash my inner army. Maybe next time I'll bring my army bomb to cheer them up in a music show or something. Speaking of which our comeback is 5 days earlier than BTS so there is a chance that I might meet them there.

A week later

So today is the day, I knew BTS is there and watching us perform. We made a comeback with a cute concept this time since our maknae, Wendy is still 16 years old we can't do anything sexy, we have reserved that for another time.

Our stage went well and I think cute concept really compliments me. I was the ending fairy this time so smiled and winked, however I did have time so I did gang sign and scrunched left side of my face.

Joohyun unnie playfully punched me and that's how my time ended. What I did was unexpected when we were doing a cutesy concept. We all laugh it off and walked down the stage after bowing.

Namjoon POV

Today is our comeback. Army must be anticipating a lot, we prepared for them. Our stage is next right after a rookie group. I practiced my dance steps as I watched the girl group performing. These kids are quite good. The song ended after 3 minutes and here we go again, ending fairy, I hate this shit. It's awkward and just cringy to watch.

They are doing a cute concept so as expected the girl smiled and winked but what she did after made many people laugh in shock. Gang sign. Jin hyung and jimin laughed along and I looked at Yoongi hyung with wide eyes.

Taehyung looked confused as he asked "What is she doing?" I added "More like, does she know what she is doing?" just then a staff came to signal us that we are next.

After the show

So we won and I'm so thankful for the armys. While doing the encore stage we bowed to the other artists that performed while doing so I accidentally walked the other side without looking when I bumped with someone and as we both tried to bow to apologise our head bumped. My head hurts, I rub my head and look at the person, oh the gang sign girl.

She apologized again as I was rubbing my head. I maintained distance this and bowed back "It's fine I should have been more careful." She smiled and said "Ah it's fine, anyways congratulations." I thanked her and then she walked away.

This time I turned towards army to rap Jungkook's part.

Y/n POV

Oh my holy fuck, I talked with Namjoon oppa!

The internet made many article about me after that interaction we had right on that day. I might have just gained my group a little bit of fame along with hate. Some thinks it was a cute and dumb-dumber interaction, others think I did it purposely for attention.

Oh well, I just went to congratulate him but then this happened. I'm not sad tho that we didn't win, a rookie group can't have a chance to compete with the kpop legends. We did have our 1st win few days back and we all cried.

A few more days of promotion in music shows then we are done. We also went to few variety shows where I showed off my dance skills. I am the worst dancer in my group but still I could remember the chorus part of every popular songs so I did well. Our main dancer, Joohyun unnie won the round ofcourse.

I met Namjoon oppa and BTS for few more times untill our promotion ended. We smiled at eachother everytime we met, I have a big fat crush on this man.

Nothing much happened after that untill one day when our manager came and told us "Two of you will be going on the mafia show this Saturday. Who wants to go?"

I hate being in variety shows as I freak out at the thought of meeting and interacting with strangers. But this time it's the mafia show. Namjoon oppa is one of the parmanent host. I have to go. I raise up my hand and see two other hands along with me, Cherry unnie and Jihyo.

We played rock paper scissor to decide and I'm very good at it so I won the first round. I was hoping for Cherry unnie to win cause if not Jihyo will come along and since I'll be the older one I have to talk more.

Jihyo won, I'm not sad but scared. Just as Jihyo won I grab her shoulders and said "Yah listen, you have to take care of me, please." Jihyo patted my back as she hugged me "It's okay unnie I'll take care of the talking, people won't doubt a thing cause you are shorter."

I pout and said "I like my height. Shut up." Just then Wendy asked "You hate variety shows so why are you doing this?"

I replied "Oh you know, I should try to come out of my bubble once in a while, it's good." and smiled. She bought that lie.

Just then Cherry unnie whispered "I know you are doing this to meet Namjoon sunbaenim." and winked yelling "Enjoy coming out of your bubble!"

I blushed and nodded. I hope everything goes well.
