"Ano pong gusto niyo, Miss? Ipaghahanda ko po kayo." she bowed slightly.

"Thank you but water would be fine, please." I said politely.

I waited there patiently, sipping from the glass of water due to my nervousness until I heard a clank of heels from the stairs.

I looked up and saw Mrs. Ischyros descending the stairs like a goddess from mount Olympus. She looked elegant in her simple white dress. She has a great and limited steps. She took her time leisurely walking like a Queen. But her smile completes everything, I say.

She went to me as I stand up to greet her politely. She kissed my cheeks as I also do so and she hugged me slightly.

"Good morning ma'am. I apologize for coming early and unnoticed."

"No worries, my dear. You're a family. Please be seated."

Umupo ako ng maayos and right at this moment, I realized how sudden my move was.

"Have you eaten your breakfast? You should join us." she smiled at me.

Really, I don't know what to say but...

"Thank you, ma'am. I appreciate your invite but I-I'm actually here for someone."

Wow. It took me a lot of courage to say it.

"Is it Chasty?" tanong nito ng walang paligoy-ligoy.

"Yes ma'am."

She eyed me before calling one of her maids and saying her order.

"Please inform Chasty to prepare as he has a guest."

She smiled at me... teasingly. I never expected to see that smile from her.

After a minute of waiting, I saw Chasty gawking at me like an eagle while descending the stairs with his simple white shirt and khaki pants.

Umagang-umaga busangot ang mukha niya. But I find him adorable though. Parang bata na nagtatampo at pinipilit na magalit.

I pouted at the very amusing sight. What have you done to my system, Chasty?

He kissed his mother's cheeks and greeted her with a glorious 'good morning'.

It felt nice to hear those words from him. Kahit hindi para sa akin ay napakagaan pa rin sa damdamin.

"I'll leave you two here so you can have your privacy. Breakfast is ready, please be aware." his mother said the last sentence meaningfully.

She smiled at me so I gave her a smile back.

Pagkalisan ng ginang ay tumingin agad ako kay Chasty na nakakunot ang nuo.

I laughed at his facial expression but it got worse.

"What are you doing here?" his voice was husky. Morning voice ba o natural na boses? Either is sexy.

"Visiting my fiance, perhaps?"

"You said yourself that we aren't engaged yet as you're too young."

Tumawa ako sa sagot niya. Kung sa ibang pagkakataon lang ay iisipin ko na nagtatampo siya dahil hindi pa kami oficially engage.

"You're sad about it? I can always tell them to have an engagement party anytime, though."

He raised his brow. Hindi kaba tututol sa sinabi ko, Chasty? Baka umasa ako.

I coughed, "kidding aside, I'm here to know your schedule."

"Schedule?" he repeated.

"You heard it right. As your future, I need to know your schedule." I said.

"You will never be the future I want." it was like a promise to every single soul.

"Kakainin mo rin 'yan balang araw."

I smiled.

"Just give me your schedule and I will go."

"Why would I do that?"

"'Wag tayong paulit-ulit, baby. Kasi nga future mo ako."

"You're the baby among us." he said sternly.

Shit. Tangina. Kinilig ako 'don. But where is this conversation taking us?

"I know you don't want to see me while eating your breakfast, so just give me your schedule and I will go home." I smiled.

I think I'm using a very useful card. Hindi niya ako gustong makita. Umaga, hapon o gabi. He may want to get rid of me, so better use that to get what I want.

He looked away and sighed.

"You think so?" he asked without looking at me.

"Ha?"

"Nothing. Wait here."

Umalis ito at pumanhik sa itaas. Maybe to get his schedule? And as I wait for him, his mother showed up in front of me, asking me to eat with them.

"I'm sorry ma'am. I'm about to go na din po kasi since I have important business to handle after this. Thank you for your invite and I will surely be back here." I refused politely.

Syempre, gusto ko. Gusto ko pang makita at makasama si Chasty. But I am true to my words.

"I'll take note of that, dear. I will surely wait for you." she smiled.

Sakto naman ang pagdating ni Chasty. He gave a piece of paper to me in front of his mother. Ako ang nahiya.

Kinuha ko ito ng mabilisan hinarap ang ginang.

Nagpaalam ako ng maayos sakaniya and before leaving their house, I smiled at him.

Palapit na ako sa kanilang gate nang may maramdaman akong mga yapak galing sa likod ko. I wanted to look back. I badly wanted to look back. That it may be Chasty. But my fear got me.

I was just afraid that I'd disappoint myself for the nth time. Nag-uumpisa pa lang ako. And I am not that brave yet. I can't take another disappointment right after one.

So I left, holding the piece of paper tightly.

"Eli, let's go now."
