Spencer's POV
* Saturday Evening *
After the incident with Toby I couldn't stay in the room with him any longer so I went to meet the girls. Caleb was out so Hanna called me and Aria over to her room.
"Hey Han." I say when she opens the door.
Her face holds an expression of exhaustion and pain. I immediately engulf her in a hug and she tightly holds me back.
"What's wrong Hanna." I say trying to get her to explain what's bothering her.
I hate it when people feel like they are forced into keeping things to themselves. I have been through it my whole life won't my parents so I know what it's like. It's horrible and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
"Kate's just being a bitch like always. She loves to rub it in my face how our dad obviously sees her as a better daughter than I am." She says with a small sigh.
"Don't listen to her. You know she's speaking nonsense and is just trying to wind you up." I reply patting her lightly on the back.
"She also mentioned how Caleb is apparently seeing someone called Miranda. I swear it's like she knows exactly what buttons to push and it's so frustrating!" Hanna angrily shouts.
"Wait you mean you like Caleb?" I say, my mouth wide in shock.
"Well I- yeah okay I like him." She says as her cheeks heat up.
"Oh my god! I was not expecting that." I excitedly state.
"Not expecting what?" Aria asks as she walks into the room and shuts the door.
"Hanna likes Caleb!." I say and Aria squeals.
"No way!" Aria says and jumps onto the bed beside us.
"Well what does it matter? He and this Miranda obviously are dating so there's no way he'll ever be with me." Hanna reminds.
"You never know maybe Kate just made that up to annoy you." I suggest trying to cheer her up.
"Yeah well I know the way he sees me anyways. Some dumb blonde who he got stuck sharing a room with." Hanna answered.
"Han you know that isn't true. Anyone who actually knows who you are would see you like that." Aria assures.
"Enough about me. Spence I didn't see you afterwards at the party where did you go?" Hanna asks.
It then occurs to me that she doesn't know what happened. And Aria doesn't know about the second kiss either. God this is going to go great.
"Well I-" I begin, fidgeting with my fingers. "I may or may not have kissed Toby."
Saying it out loud makes what I did even more surprising. I seriously kissed my player roommate. And the worst part is that I actually enjoyed it! Oh lord what's gotten into me.
"YOU WHAT!" Hanna shouts and I cover my face with my hands in embarrassment.
"Did you guys speak and sort everything out?" Aria asks pulling my hands down from my face. "Spence we would never judge you. You can tell us anything."
"Don't feel bad for what happened." Hanna says placing a reassuring hand on my back. "We all make mistakes."
I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. "The worse part is that it happened again when I went to speak to him about it. It's like I can't even be in a room alone with that boy. He knows how to completely take over me."
