Spencer's POV
* Monday Morning *
"I think it's too much of a coincidence that we are forced to share a room with them" Hanna says as she takes a bite into her apple.
"Yeah same" I say stirring my coffee. We all met up for a quick breakfast before our classes start. I can already feel my shoulder aching due to the heaviness of my schoolbag. I know now that this year is going to be tough.
"But I have to admit Ezra is kinda cute" Aria says with a shrug. Me and Hanna immediately look at her with wide eyes. We squeal loudly and Aria puts her face in her hands.
"OMG Aria has a crush!" I shout and she playfully smacks me on the arm. Hanna just bursts out into a fit of laughter.
"Do you want to tell the entire cafe!" She scolds and I just roll my eyes at her.
"Aria I don't think anyone here particularly cares about our love interests" I reply and she just shrugs her shoulders. The cafe is gradually getting fuller and fuller, with students.
"Anyone know why the guys didn't share a room yet?" Hanna asks out of nowhere. Me and Aria shake our heads. 'I have a feeling it's got something to do with Toby but I'm going to try and talk to Caleb about it'.
"Okay just don't make it too obvious" I say and she nods in agreement. "We better get to class now" I state checking the time on my phone.
"Yay can't wait for a day of stressful learning" Aria says sarcastically and I laugh. We bin our rubbish and make our way to the main Upenn building. The good thing is that we don't need to wear uniform to class.
Today I just put on a black coloured tank top and some light blue jeans. It's really hot today so that's the reason everyone is wearing summery type clothing. I must admit some of the guys here at Upenn are really good looking. They all look so muscular and hot, especially when they are all in their groups. Omg, get your head out of the clouds Spencer!
* At Lunch *
"Uhhh I am exhausted!" I remark as I join the girls at the table we are sitting at. The cafeteria is super small compared to what I thought so it looks like a lot of people are required to share tables. Thankfully the girls and I got here pretty early so we found a spare table.
"Same but I mean what did you expect?" Aria says putting her schoolbag on the back of her seat.
"Yeah I guess"I reply with a shrug. "I'm struggling to understand some things already and my parents expect me to get through the entire school year".
"Don't stress about it Spencer" Hanna says taking a bite out of her burger. "You know you could always drop classes that you think are too advanced".
"Yeah right and that way I'd be disowned by my parents" I say with a sigh. I take my fork and begin poking my salad with it. I seem to have completely lost my appetite at this point.
"Omg no no no no for fucks sake" Aria says quickly looking at something behind us. Me and Hanna look to her in confusion.
"What?" Hanna asks furrowing her eyebrows.
"Look who's coming this way" Aria whispers and I turn to look at what she is walking about. Toby, Caleb and Ezra are all making their way towards our table. I put my head in my hands and groan.
"Hey there" Caleb says dragging over a seat for him and the guys. 'Mind if we join you?' He asks.
"Well actuall-" I begin but at this point they are already seated at our table. I internally sigh and just take a sip of my water.
