Well, this is easy. Neith kneels next to the man and takes his heart piece. Her only price for winning the duel. So far she has now three heart pieces and they all fit. She was hoping for some competition. Instead, she got idiots, who she could beat in a few turns.

'Neith?'

The voice sounds familiar to her and she turns around. To see the man she ran into two days ago. 'Hello, Kite.'

He can't help but smile. For some reason, he hoped to see her again. It's no surprise that she's wearing the same outfit. 'You have a duel tattoo, I see. Are you in the tournament?'

'I'm pretty sure that you are too. How about we duel each other in the finals? That would make it more like a challenge instead of the dweebs I duel here.' Neith can see that his eyes light up. That is for the bit of light that reaches the alley where they are.

'Duel wanna-bees.'

'Call them what you want. I want some real competition in the finals. I sure hope you're better than them.' Neith smiles a bit.

Kite nods. 'You're on. How many heart pieces do you have so far?' Ever since he runs into her, he does think of the woman sometimes.

'Three. How many have you collected?' Neith does like their short conversations. Almost to the point that she wants a real conversation with him. But she knows better because they both are busy.

'Also three.' Kite wants to continue but turns around. 'How about a drink? If we keep up the pace then we would have all the pieces we need by nightfall.'

Neith thinks about it. 'Why not. I don't think anyone can collect so many pieces without making it look like you've cheated.'

Kite looks over his shoulder. 'Orbital, you go back.'

The robot backs out by surprise. 'Yes, master Kite.' Without another word, he takes off with his wings. Flying in a direction. Back to the hideout.

'That is an easy way of travel.' Neith is not the slightest scared by it. 'Nebula has wings too. It saves time, you can't get stuck in traffic.'

Making Kite laugh. 'That is true.' He takes her to a snack bar. 'A milkshake, slush puppy, or just water?'

'A chocolate milkshake, please.' Neith knows the snack bar because she goes here too for something easy.

'A chocolate and strawberry milkshake, please.' Kite orders and pays for it. Since it's quiet, he gets the order within a minute. 'Here you go.'

With a smile, she takes a sip from her milkshake. 'Thank you.'

'Are you still in school or not?' Kite starts the conversation easy and with a light topic.

Neith holds the cup with one hand. 'I work. Researcher and sometimes I help my father.' Walking next to him, they walk to a more crowded area. 'Although I have my projects. And you, school or work?'

Kite could see the question coming back. 'Same, actually, researcher and engineering. Mostly my projects. I thought I saw you duel, what deck do you have? I have never seen cards like yours before.'

'And ruin the surprise for our duel in the finals? Nice try.' Neith sips a few times and enjoys her milkshake. 'Even if I would answer your question, would you tell me what kind of deck you have?'

A grin is on his face. 'An Xyz deck...'

'Yes, you, me, and more people here have an Xyz deck, smart ass.' Neith shakes her head while interrupting him. 'Don't ask me a question if you don't want to answer it yourself.'
