69. A nightmare

In Heartland, at the pier. 

Celeste ignores Alito for carrying her outside. She has Tori and Rio close. Who came after an angry call to her brother. 

'Quinton?' Kite can see that the portal draws too much energy. 

'I know.' Quinton tried to keep it hidden for Celeste. 

Dumon notices something and goes to them. 'Is something wrong?' 

'No, nothing we can't fix.' Kite wants him gone. 

Quinton disagrees and looks at Dumon. 'Get ready to evacuate.' 

Nash catches Kite's eyes. 'Alito, a moment.' 

'Yeah, sure.' Alito gets up and walks away. 'What is it?' 

'Get ready to take Celeste away. It doesn't look good, but they try to hide it for Celeste.' Nash sees Dumon coming to them. 

He hears the words and nods. 'Get ready to evacuate.' He does keep his voice down. 

'Is this an important meeting for us?' Mizar saw them talking together. 

Vector sighs. 'No, only for them.' 

'It's not my problem that you don't care. If you don't want to be here, then go. Nobody is forcing you.' Mizar would easily kick him outside. 

Vector steps closer to him with his hands on his waist. 'Let's duel and find out who is kicking who out.' 

'Not now,' Nash reacts quickly, trying to come between them. 

Dumon pulls his friend away. 'Let it go. He lives with us.' 

'Unfortunately,' Mizar looks down on Vector. 

'Oh come on, let me go,' Vector breaks himself free. 'Right now, outside, let's see who's better...' 

'That will be my Tachyon Dragon.' Mizar knows. 

Again that Nash has to push them away from each other. 'Knock it off, both of you.' He looks at Girag. 

Girag grabs Vector in his neck to pull him away. 

'Let me go, big dork.' Vector protests. 

'Outside, Girag, he can cool off for a while.' 

Celeste knew Nash could be harsh, but never saw it. 'Is everything alright?' 

'They will be.' Nash nods. 

'What? I don't get an award for my performance? I know that things are wrong with the portal.' Vector knew by the way Kite and Quinton were working. 'It was working, without knowing, Mizar and I could've gotten everyone outside.' 

'You fool!' Mizar has known for minutes. However, he kept it to himself. 

Immediately, Celeste turns her head to the portal. 'What? No!' Tears fill her eyes. 'Neith,' she whispers.

'Get out!' Quinton orders while walking to Celeste. 'Kite and I did everything we could. There's nothing that would work.' He places his hands on her shoulders. 'Come, I'm sure that Neith would do anything to come back to you.'

Yuma is worried about Celeste but runs outside with Tori and Rio behind him. 'I found my way back, Celeste. Your sister will do the same.'

They all go outside. 

Quinton knows that it's becoming critical. 'We have to go, Celeste.' 

'I can't...' Crying Celeste looks at the portal that has small explosions. Another explosion follows, and she falls back, right in the arms of Quinton. 'Neith.'
