Celeste is just about ready to go when she sees her father finally entering the kitchen. 'Breakfast is ready but cold.' Without giving him another look, she turns to Neith. 'I know you're dueling in the tournament, so I don't blame you if you would come home late.'

Neith disagrees. 'I'll try to have either lunch with you or dinner. I have a lead and I want to follow that up.' Still remembering about Barian and Astral world, she wants to try to find some information about those two.

She hugs her sister. 'Alright, be careful, I'll see you tonight.'

Neith smiles at her. 'You too, I know that you'll be with your friends. Because of the tournament, there's no school.'

Making Celeste shrug her shoulders. 'Day two, how long before you have all the heart pieces?'

'Today.' Neith is confident enough that she will have the remaining pieces by lunchtime. After that, back to the normal Number hunting.

'In two days?' Mason doesn't like it that his daughters are ignoring him.

'Instead of paying attention to me, you should be paying attention to your company. You have two meetings, three appointments, and you missed some important e-mails.' Neith knows.

Mason crosses his arms. 'And how do you know that?'

'I checked your agenda. Please be sober for that or the board might fire you from your own company.' Neith doesn't feel guilty about it.

'Neith, it is not your company. Stay out of it.' He can't believe that she would go that far.

'Right now, with your behavior, and the alcohol it's not your company either,' bounces Neith back. 'Furthermore, nothing seems to have changed with you, father.'

Mason didn't expect such a remark and keeps quiet.

'I'm off. I need a few pieces to complete my heart.' Neith turns to Cosmo. 'I haven't got the chance to clean my room. Could you, Cosmo?'

The robot looks at her. 'Of course, miss.'

'Thank you, Cosmo.' Neith turns her head to the clock. 'The second day will be announced in about an hour and there is still enough to do. Come on, Nebula.'

Once inside, Neith checks the computer. Trying to find anything about both Barian and Astral world. Only to come up empty. 'I've got nothing. You, Nebula?'

'I have found Kite. Kite Tenjo is his name, and he has a brother named Hart,' tells the robot. 'He lives in the Heartland Tower.'

Neith rolls her eyes. 'Yes, I already know this. Anything else?' She looks at the screen that Nebula works with. 'What about the other contestants in this tournament? What is their ace card?'

'Searching.' Nebula works as fast as she can.

'Keep it running, and during lunchtime, you can check again.' Neith wants to go outside. She was never the type for an office job. To stay inside all day. 'Let's go. The second day of the preliminaries. Before this day is over, I want all my heart pieces and enter the finals.'

Nebula finishes on the computer. 'I will.'

'As soon as I have my heart pieces, we go back to Number hunting until the finals.' Neith turns around. She knows that Nebula will follow her and goes outside. After the robot is outside, she turns the security back on. 'On with the hunt for heart pieces.' She feels the robot on her back and flies away. At the same time, looking down on the city below her. 'Keep track of the duelists who are out of the tournament. That would make it easier to collect the remaining heart pieces.' A duel has started and she recognizes the field spell Xyz Colosseum. On the roof of a building, much closer to the duel, Neith notices that it is a two on one duel. With a few spectators. Seeing that monsters are summoned and are used to Xyz summon. To witness the Debugger Z, Debugger X, and Debugger Y being used to summon Antidote Nurse, who attacks Gimmick Puppet Princess. An explosion follows and the two men start to cheer up. 'Really? Your opponent had another face down.' Neith shakes her head. Obvious to her that that face down is a trap card of some sort.

'My congratulations. Your attacks have truly been amusing but they were hardly enough to defeat me.' The smoke clears up. Only to show that the man still standing tall. 'I simply activated my Gimmick Box trap as soon as you attacked. Not only don't I take any damage from your attack but this trap card then transforms into a monster card. And that's not the only surprise I have in store. Remember the amount of damage I would have taken, that becomes my monster's attack points instead.'

Neith has to admit it's a good strategy. 'Not bad.'

'You should forget about this duel, brother. It's clear they don't have any Number cards. Or else they would have used them already,' says the other one.

'Number cards?' Neith looks at Nebula. 'Check those two, will you. Right now, I'll stay here and after it, I will duel myself...' She can hear 'chumps' coming from the duel.

Nebula looks from Neith to the field below them. 'I will go back during lunchtime, miss. You might need me.'

She thinks about it while watching the duel.

'...dueling skills are far below mine.'

'I don't know if he's just arrogant or plain stupid to play with his opponents like that.' She sighs. 'And your right, around lunchtime, Nebula. But I want information about those two first. They must be in the tournament.' Looking down, she can see that two monsters, Gimmick Puppet Scarecrow and Gimmick Box, are used for an Xyz summon.

'I Xyz summon Number fifteen, Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder.'

Now Neith definitely has her attention to the duel. 'He has a Number.' Seeing the number fifteen to appear on the crown of the big puppet.

'Yes, the duel is over for those two boys.' Nebula notices while taking a quick picture of the red-haired man and the other on the side. 'I have their picture.'

Neith sees that the red hair uses a special ability and destroys Tin Archduke first. Hearing that the attack of Tin Archduke will be done as damage to the big guy. 'He set this up from the beginning.' After both Xyz monsters are destroyed, he summons them back by an effect of Gimmick Puppet Princess to attack the two once more. With the duel over, someone else shows up. When Neith wants to walk away, she hears a name. Quattro? Is that the name of that idiot?

'Trey, this is between Shark and me. You stay out of this.'

'Try to find out about Quattro, Trey, and that Shark. The latter is a nickname.'

'Vetrix always says our mission comes first.' The one with pink hair reacts.

Only for Quattro to disappear in a gust of wind but not before showing a full heart piece.

***

It is the duel between Quattro, Bronk, and Caswell. I only picked a few parts from that episode. And a few characters from the series. Soon it will make sense with the storyline I have for Neith.
