63. A friend of a friend

Not knowing how to react, Celeste looks at her sister with big eyes. Even her mouth is slightly open. 

'Celeste?' Neith told her about the teleporter that she built with Nebula and even about the test with a good result. 

She shakes her head. 'No, Neith, no, I don't want you to. I can't lose you. What if something goes wrong?' 

Neith folds her hands together. 'I have something that isn't mine. I also wish I could say goodbye to some people. I was supposed to get reinforcement. They must be worried about me.' She gets up and hugs her. 'I'm not staying there, Celeste, I will come back. Back to you.' 

'You better.' Celeste throws her arms around her sister's neck and hides her face. 'You can't leave me alone here,' she whispers with a crack in her voice. 

'I won't. I always come back.' Although, Neith wishes that Kite would be a reason to come back too. 'I still have to work. And you to school. I'll take a day off tomorrow and have a long weekend for it.' 

Celeste holds her close. 'I don't like it.' 

'I know.' Neith can feel Comet trying to come between, and she lets one hand go to him. To kneel to Comet. 'You can feel it, don't you?' She hugs the dog. 'I love you both, but this is no goodbye.' She gets up after kissing the dog on his head. Who tries to lick her back. 'You have school, come on.' 

'Alright, you go tomorrow, so I expect to see you later.' Celeste doesn't like it but she remembers what her sister said. To return something that she borrowed. 'You never lied to me. Not to mention that you said it a few times to return the cards. It shouldn't surprise me that you found a way.' 

'We will have dinner together and breakfast tomorrow morning.' Neith insures her sister. 'You're gonna be late.' 

Celeste hugs her one more time, picks up her bag, and leaves to go to school. 

'Celes, wait up!' Alito runs to her. He saw her leave the building. Although seeing her head hang, it's not what he's used to seeing from her. 'What is it?' 

She turns her head to him. 'My sister found a way to go home. If something goes wrong, I could lose her.' 

'When is she leaving?' Alito didn't expect that. 'Or is it only a trip there and that she comes back?' 

'Alito! Wait for me.' Girag walks fast to them. 

Alito looks at him and back to the girl. 'When does she leave?' 

'Tomorrow.' Celeste hopes that her sister will come back. 

'Who is leaving?' Girag follows them to school. 

Celeste shakes her head. 'That's not all, either. Kite called finally yesterday, after two days of waiting. If those two are in a relationship, you should talk more to each other than every two days, right?' 

Alito didn't know. 'If they are, then yes, you're right. If you can't see each other every day, you call and text.' He's nodding to himself. 'Ridiculous.' 

'Alito! Girag!' 

Hearing his voice, Celeste sighs. She knows that her sister is pretty close to Dumon. She believes that he's perfect for Neith and turns around. 'What if I tell you that Neith found a way to go home?' 

'What? Really?' Is Dumon's reaction. 'Did she tested it? Is it safe? Will she be back or does she expect you to come with her?' He had no idea that Neith was working on a way to go back home. 'I hope not, she's a part of us. You could say that she's part of our family.'
