'Damn you, Dumon.' She sobs and carefully tries to wipe her tears away. 'I don't cry easily, but you just made it happen.' She can see his name engraved in the ring. She feels the light touch when he puts the ring on her finger. 'On my left?'

'The only hand with a ring finger that has a vein connected to your heart.' He knows and kisses the ring on her finger. 'I love you, Neith, more than I could possibly imagine.'

'I love you too.' With her arms around his neck, she leans in for a kiss.

The kiss that doesn't last long or Dumon breaks it. 'Finally.'

'Finally what,' she asks and lays her head on his shoulder.

'You're finally mine. The remaining question now is when we tell the others.' Dumon sighs happily. He has the woman of his dreams, and she carries the ring with his name in it.

Laughing, she lifts her head. 'There was never any doubt.' She looks him in his eyes. 'I know this is rather special. Can I make it exceptionally special?'

He can see something in her eyes. With the starlight, they seem to sparkle even more.

'Stay for the night,' she whispers.

'I would love to.' He knows that it's Friday, and he likes the idea of waking up with her. 'I want to be able to wake up next to you and have breakfast together.'

Slowly, Dumon wakes up and smiles without opening his eyes. He still has one arm around Neith, and he pulls her closer. When he does open his eyes, he can see that she's facing him. Her lips slightly parted. Her arm tucked under her head and pillow. Never could he imagine a night like last night. He raises his hand and places it in her neck, where he starts to caress her ear with his thumb. Gently, he strokes over her cheek and feels her smooth skin.

Neith moves a little while waking up. His light touch is something she remembers from last night. Not wanting to open her eyes, she moves closer to him and wraps her arm around his waist.

'Good morning, beautiful,' he whispers and closer to her lips. He closes the small gap and kisses her, tracing her lips with his and his nose touching hers.

She kisses him back. 'I like waking up this way,' she mumbles slowly, and she hears that her voice is somewhat hoarse. 'Good morning, love.'

One small word is enough that he feels it in his heart. It's the best feeling for him. 'Call me that more often.'

She opens her eyes and sees a couple of grey ones. More misty grey. 'I will.' She grins softly and kisses him. She can feel that his hand goes down over her side, where it lies still on her hip. With her arm around him, she turns on her back and pulls him with her.

In the kiss, Dumon lands on top, and he leans on his forearms.

Enjoying the kiss, she can hear something that she breaks the kiss.

Scratching sounds reach his ears. Together with a soft howling and he smiles. 'Comet.'

'Comet, you can't.' Celeste recognized Dumon's jacket.

Neith lets her fingers travel down to his waist, where she can feel his boxer shorts. 'It's okay, Celes, he can come in.'

Quickly, he rolls off her and not a moment too late.

Celeste opens the door. 'Good morning.'

Dumon is on his back and greeted by Comet, who jumped on him. 'Good morning... Comet, you're not a small lapdog.'

'Careful.' Neith pets him.

'Neith?'

She shows her ring to her sister. 'He asked me on the back of Rise Falcon.'

'I did,' he confirms with a smile while petting Comet.

'You set the bar high.' Celeste sees the crown ring on her finger. 'Why a crown ring?'

Neith shakes her head. 'No, that stays between him and me.'

Celeste shrugs. 'Alright, I was just curious.' She gets up. 'Is it because he's from a time of kings and queens?'

Dumon shakes no with a smile. 'Nice try, it's something small between us. I know you otherwise have no secrets.'

It makes Neith laugh. 'Tonight dinner with everyone.'

'True, we have no secrets otherwise,' nods Celeste. 'Will you tell the others about you two? You do date each other for a few weeks.'

'I'm not hiding my ring.' Neith comes out of bed. 'We'll see who notices this.' With some clothes, she goes to the bathroom while laughing. 'Guess I'm first.'

It doesn't matter to Dumon, and he pushes Comet away.

Celeste smiles faintly and turns around quickly when Dumon comes out of bed. 'I'll have breakfast ready in half an hour.'

'Thank you. We'll be there.' He goes to the bathroom when he hears Neith's phone. 'You have a message.'

Grinning, Neith puts the hairbrush down. 'I heard.' Done, she walks back to look at the message. 'Well, it seems that we have to relocate the duel.'

'Relocate?' He comes out of the bathroom.

'Apparently, the others found out and want to see the duel.' She puts her phone in her pocket and walks out. 'I guess the roof is out of the question.' She gets a cup of coffee.

Comet asks for Dumons attention, who pets him and joins the women for breakfast. 'Where is it bigger? You know the city better than me.'

'Mhmm, you could go to the stadium? Space enough,' suggest Celeste.

Dumon smiles while sitting down. 'What about dinner tonight? Who will cook? You?'

Neith laughs and empties her cup. 'I was planning to, yes. But you have to wait until tonight. It's also a surprise for you.'

'She's gonna throw you out.' Celeste shakes her head, bursting out laughing.
