84. Obvious enough

Neith has everything ready for dinner. She even dressed for the occasion in a black dress. 

Celeste is the first to answer the door when the bell rings. 'Probably Dumon first cause he wants a moment alone with you.' Grinning, she looks at her sister. 'Especially since you wear a dress. Never thought you would do that.' 

'Well, time changes everything. Even me.' She puts two wine bottles on the table. 'After all, I am the CEO, and I should dress and behave like one.' 

'Not to me, you don't. To me, your my sister and a close friend.' She opens the door before SAM can say anything. 

Mizar comes inside with Dumon and Vector right behind him. 'Hmm, that smells good.' 

Vector sees that Neith wears a black dress. 'Especially for us?' 

'Don't flatter yourself.' She can see that Dumon winks at her. 'It's called growing up.' 

Making Mizar laugh. 'You might try it too, Vector.' 

The bell rings again, and this time Alito and Girag come in. 

'I've heard about a duel between you and Quattro, is that true?' Alito wouldn't want to miss it. 

Neith nods. 'It's true...' She's interrupted by her phone and the doorbell. 'Hello Quattro, you could react to my text with a text instead of calling.' 

'Maybe, but this way, I have your answer immediately. The stadium is fine if we can get inside. It's because of Trey that Yuma and company found out about it.' 

She can see that Nash and Rio come inside. 'Getting inside the stadium isn't a problem. I will see you at eight.' After confirmation from Quattro, she hangs up. 

Nash shakes his head. 'The duel between you and Quattro? I wouldn't be surprised if you have the key or something.' 

Neith laughs. 'You have to wait till Wednesday.' 

'Take a seat, gentlemen.' Celeste points at the table. 'Dinner is ready.' 

'It sure smells amazing.' Alito takes a seat. 

Neith pours the wine for everyone. After that, she stays by the head of the table. 'I hope we can make this a tradition once a month.' 

'I sure want to. I didn't know that some of you have a job until Celeste mentioned it.' Nash never knew that they would grow apart slowly. 

Celeste agrees. 'And I heard from Neith.' 

'What? How do you do that?' Nash is surprised. 

'I have ears and eyes everywhere.' She raises her glass and wonders who's going to notice her ring. 'Let's eat, so dig in.' 

Vector takes a sip. 'It's not that weird. We live in the same building, after all.' 

It makes Celeste smile. 'Yes, well, you do like to come over here. For how long do you want to keep it quiet?' She leans with her head in her hand. 

'He's a terrible liar. I know that Neith is the one who teaches you how to cook.' Dumon reacts. 

'How do you know?' Vector turns his head to him. 

Neith sighs. She knew that it wouldn't take long. 

Even Celeste knows better. 'Might as well tell everyone.' 

Dumon realizes what he just said. 'Simple, you don't always answer your phone, and because of that, I called Yuma. You were somewhere else, and on nights that both Alito and Girag had to work. There are not many places and friends left for you.' It makes sense to him, and he saves himself.
