Sleep

Maia’s POV

 “Hey, I missed you guys!” I said squeezing my mom and Charlie.

“We missed you too Maia!” Charlie said looking up and smiling.

“Lets get going” my mom said walking out and getting into the car.

After a short little drive back to my old house we finally made it.

“I’m home” I say in a whisper

 

The first day back home was a little bummy. I missed all my friends back in LA, but I would miss my family back here if I didn’t come back soon. I was super jet-lagged when I made it to the house. I layed in my old bed in my old room, remembering all the old memories. When I finally woke up it was like I had been sleeping for days. It was dark outside when I woke and everyone else in the house was already asleep. I checked the time and estimated the time it would be back in LA. It is Wednesday and it's 11 o’clock PM here. So that means in LA its 4 o'clock AM and it is a Tuesday. So I guess I’m out of luck with someone I can talk too. That would be the case if I didn’t know David.

What are you doing up?

 I should be asking you that question.

 Haha can’t sleep. But seriously why are you awake?

 Was really jet-lagged so I slept like the whole day

 Plus it’s only 11 o'clock PM here

 Oh yeah I forgot about the time difference lol

 It’s also Wednesday here

 NO WAY

 SO YOU’RE LIKE IN THE FUTURE?!

 Not really… just a different time zone

 Aww I thought Aussie was actually cool

 Aussie is cool!

 I’ll have to meet your folks sometime!

 So is Ashley sleeping in her own bed tonight?

Are you gonna start bringing that up every time we text each other now?

 I guess you’ll have to text me more often if you wanna find out.

I closed my phone and tried for more sleep.
