Maias POV

I finally made it back to the house. I ran inside trying to avoid my family so they wouldn’t have to see me like this. I ran into the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror just staring at myself. A tear dripped down.

“STOP!” I screamed at myself, trying to get myself from breaking down again.

Someone then came over and knocked on the door of the bathroom.

“Maia are you okay sweetie?” my mom said

“Yeah mom I’m fine just give me a second”

“Well lunch is ready so come out when you’re ready”

“I’ll be right out” I said

I splashed water on my face, dried off, and walked out to sit with my family and eat lunch.

After lunch me and my brother went and laid on the couch. We don’t watch a lot of TV in Australia so all my parents own are the DVDs of The Fosters. My brother slid in the Christmas episode and sat back down by me on the couch. The episode started playing. It resumed with the Brandon and Callie kiss. I stared at the TV, giving as much attention as possible. I hadn’t watched the Christmas episode yet so I watched all the moments with Callie making sure it looked good. I’ve never noticed the little things that you can see on the TV. Like the way David holds my head when we kiss. Or how he stares right into my eyes whenever we talk to each other.

“So Maia is that guy your boyfriend?” Charlie asks

“No, he’s just my friend” I say

“Then why are you kissing?”

“It’s for the show”

“Oh”

I go on Instagram to try to distract myself. Thankfully David and Ashley haven’t posted anything because I don’t know if could have controlled myself. I decide to post a picture that me and Charlie took down by the river. I caption it with ‘Home’. At that moment the Brallie moment on the porch comes on. I quickly snap a picture of when Brandon and Callie pinkie promise. I go onto Twitter and caption the picture with ‘2x11 w/ @dglambert’. Then I walked into my room and change back into my regular clothes instead of my swimsuit.

David’s POV

“David get off your phone we’re at dinner!” Ashley speaks

“Sorry”

“So what’s been happening? I haven’t heard you laughing at 2:30 in the morning while texting Maia.”

I set my phone down trying to listen to her.

“Maia went back home”

“Forever?” she says

“No, no not forever”

“Oh” she says almost as if she is disappointed that she won’t stay home forever.

“Why? Is that a problem?”

“No it’s just. Oh nothing.”

The waitress comes over to our table and hands us menus.

“Are you ready to order” the waitress asks

“Yes we are” Ashley says even though I’m not ready.

“I’ll have the caesar salad” Ashley says

“Okay and for you, sir?” the waitress speaks

“Yeah, um, I’ll have the cheeseburger”

“Your meals will be ready shortly”

“Thank You” I say

“You couldn’t have ordered something more fancy?” she says whispering

“Well, sorry my order doesn’t meet your preferences”

“Oh, don’t do that David. You can’t turn this back on me”

“I have to go to the bathroom” I say

“Fine whatever”

I throw my napkin onto the dining table and walk over to the bathroom. I walk into the empty bathroom over to one of the stalls. I sit on the toilet seat with my pants still on and go on my phone. I go onto twitter showing lots of notifications. I click on a tweet that Maia had mentioned me in. It read 2x11 w/ @dglambert’. A smile grew onto my face. I decided that I should reply to drive the fans crazy. I replied with ‘I pinky promise that I miss you! and clicked reply to send it. I really didn’t feel like getting yelled at by Ashley so I decided to quick go on Instagram. I opened it up and the first picture that loaded was of Maia. She was down by the river. The river that she always told me about. How it was so beautiful and was so worth getting up at 6 AM to get to see it. Then I saw Charlie standing next to her. He used to sometimes come on set and if Maia was too busy I would always invite him to hang out with me. Then I examined the picture more. I quickly noticed then that Maia was in her swimsuit. My heart started to race as I looked at her body through the picture. She is so perfect. But it is not right what I am doing. I closed my phone and got myself back together. I walked out to Ashley and the food had arrived.

“Hey sorry it took so long” I spoke to her

“Its fine” she said

But I know it wasn’t fine. If she would have known what I was thinking about in there, it wouldn’t be fine to her.

“I'm really sorry Ashley”

“For what?” she asks

“Everything”
