That morning Zak was doing some research when Aaron came down.  "Where's Lori?"he asked.  "Sleeping she kept having a nightmare about that hospital" Zak replied.  "What do you mean?" Aaron inquired.  "Like being put on a bed with resistant and being shocked with electricity," Zak replied.  "That's not the worst of it she informed me last night she was held down by a entity or shadow figure.  When we came back here she told me her back was burning she was marked Aaron". 

"Seriously".  Zak gave him his phone and Aaron saw the pictures.  "Jesus but why would this thing go after Lori".  "I did some digging into that trait she has her purple eyes.  People with that genetic trait are more sensitive to ghost and spirits makes them more empathic like me".  "Now she has a reason to take over for her father" Aaron said.  "Not funny Aaron this could put Lori in danger" Zak stated. 

"Than send her back home have her stay with your mother".  "I can't I did that for the first five years of her life.  Every time I left my mom's house after I tucked her into bed I would go home with such an ache inside me that when I got home I'd close the door and just collapse into tears.  There were times where I thought of quitting Ghost Adventures to be a father to Lori" Zak admitted.

"You serious?".  "When I decided I wanted Lori near me my mom asked me if I was ready to be a full time parent to Lori.  I knew I wanted to be so with my mom's help we moved her stuff into my house.  She was so excited when she saw it and that made me so happy knowing that we would be together in the same house" Zak remarked as he wiped the tears from his face. 

"I got to say man with what we do and what you've been through Zak.  You've done a great job on raising that girl into the teenager she is" Aaron stated.  "Thanks Aaron" Zak replied.  When Zak came up to the room Lori was looking out the window.  "Lori you all right?".  "Do you think it was right for me to come with your guys?".  "Why because of what happened last night" as he pulled up a chair to his daughter. 

"I'm scared dad that it's going to come after me again".  "Do you want to go home?" he asked.  "Maybe I should dad I don't want to put you and the guys in trouble".  "Honey I should be the one that should be worried whenever I went to a place that had entities, demons, or pist off ghost that would knock me down or get into me I was afraid to bring it home to you.  I would even go to a hotel to decompress because I was scared for you to see me that way" Zak remarked.

"But why did it come after me for?".  "It's your eyes sweetie. I looked it up and it said that people with this genetic trait are more sensitive to ghost and entities you're like me an empath"Zak explained.  "So I'm just like you dad" she said with a bit of a smile.  "You could say that.  Honey if you want to go back to Vegas I'm not holding you here".  "I'm going to stay dad you never know two empaths are better than one" she said.  They both laughed as Zak hugged his daughter.
