Outside Zak and Lori were talking.  "I'm going to miss grand pa".  "I remember coming down here a couple of days after you came into my life to tell him about you" Zak remarked.  "Hey dad how's Florida treating you" as they sat down.  "Wonderful now what are you doing down here for?" his father inquired.  "I have two things to tell you I wanted to tell you face to face"Zak stated.  "All right what are they?". 

"First that show that Nick and I came up with well a network wants us to film a season" Zak replied.  "Oh my god congratulation Zakary I can't wait to see the first episode" giving him a hug.  "And I don't know how to explain this but I have a daughter".  "Wait a minute I thought you weren't dating anyone right now.  Is the mother a former girlfriend of yours" he inquired.  "I'm not really sure dad".  "I'm confused Zak". 

"When I came home after finding out that the show had been picked up I found a basket at my door.  I looked and saw a baby with a note on her that said: SHE'S YOURS  I DON'T WANT HER.  I brought her in and I called mom".  "Are you going to put her up for adoption?" he asked. "No I'm going to be her father dad.  Mom's going to help me.  She's going to stay with mom until I'm ready that I can raise her and be a paranormal investigator at the same time"Zak remarked. "I think that's a good plan Zak but there's one thing you have to do for me".  "What's that dad?".  "Bring her down here so I can meet my new grand daughter" as Zak went into his pocket.  "I have some pictures of her"

"When I showed those pictures of you to him his face just lite up".  "Remember when you took me down to Florida to meet grand pa for the first time?" she asked.  "Yea it was the day you moved in with me too, so it was double special for me" Zak remarked.  "I was a little nervous, but you said he's probably as nervous as I am since this was his first time meeting me"Lori said. 
"Yea when we arrived at the house dad was waiting outside and you walked over to him than gave him a hug as you said hi grand pa" Zak stated.

"He loved just looking into my eyes and he told me that his great grandmother had the same eye color too.  He even gave me an amethyst pendant that day which I loved wearing it until the chain got too small for me.  I always said I would get a bigger chain for it, but I never did" as Lori started to tear up.  

"Close your eyes for a second Lori?" Zak asked.  She closed her eyes and Zak took a box out of his pocket.  "Open it".   She saw it was a ring.  "Is this?".  "The pendant your grandfather gave you I was saving it for your birthday in a few months, but I thought you'd like it now".  She put it on and smiled.  "Thank you, dad I love it,".  "Now he'll always be with you like you're with me".  Zak pulled up his sleeve and showed Lori a tattoo of her birthday (the day she arrived into Zak's life) on his arm.
