Can't Save Everyone

Months passed and danger swept our country as the poisonous bee was still out there
I figured out we needed some kind of anecdote to beat this thing
So while Axel and the police went to go check it out
I was back at Townwest getting the anecdote ready suddenly I get a call from Axel
Axel: Scarlett! You need to get out of there right now the bee is heading over there and he's gonna infect the whole city, leave now!
Scarlett: The anecdote is cooking, there's 6 minutes left
Axel: You're gonna stay there 6 minutes after what I just told you, there's no time left! You leave now that is an order!
Scarlett: I'm gonna get everybody out *hangs up phone*
Axel: Sky! Sky! You mother-
I push the emergency button, and everybody starts evacuating the building
*Police show up at the scene where the black wasp was*
*Axel gets hit by a police car and falls to the ground*
As Captain Ross, Scarlett's dad, takes his mask off, he quickly gets up and starts trying to get away when Scarlett's dad points a gun at his back
Axel slowly turns around
John: Axel!
Axel: It's headed to Townwest, and your daughter is there right now, you have to let me go please!
John puts his gun down slowly and signals at me to go
One of the officers points a gun at Axel
John: Hold your fire!
The gun goes off but it only manages to hit Axel's suit
**Back To Scarlett**
Whoever this poisonous bee person was has managed to break into the building, I hid inside one of the closets as the building shook and footsteps were heard
Suddenly the closet door swung open, and I started shooting at it with the fire extinguisher, but he just grabbed something from inside the closet and flew out of the window
Then the computer made a loud sound, indicating that the anecdote was complete
I sprung out of the closet, grabbed the anecdote and ran off outside, to where I saw lots of police and my dad stepped out of the car
Scarlett: Dad! *runs to him*
John: Get in the car!
Scarlett: We have to give this to the black wasp
John: Give me that, get in the car!
Scarlett: No you don't understand!
John: I do! Your boyfriend is a man of many masks, I get it, now give me that and get in the car
As I walk over to the car, I then look over at him
Scarlett: Please make sure he's okay..
I then get in the car
**meanwhile with Axel**
Axel and the bee were battling, and Axel started to lose control as the bee was really strong
John: He's not alone!
John then looks at Axel
John: I'll handle this, now go use this anecdote to prevent the city to be infected
Axel grabs the anecdote and flies off
The bee then goes after John, and stings him as it proceeds to go after Axel but by the time it does, Axel has already put the anecdote in, and the bee slowly dies, and the whole city is safe now
**Axel suddenly remembers the captain and starts running over to him**
Axel: Captain!
As he approaches the Captain, he sees him on the floor in pain
John: T..the bee..
Axel: It's okay, we stopped him
Axel: Let's get you out of here..
John lays on the floor in pain as Axel tries to help him
Axel: Hey.. look at me, stay with me.. help's on the way okay?
John: You need to.. you need to be gone when they.. when they get here..
Axel: I'm not going anywhere
John: I was wrong about you Axel.. this city needs you..
Axel looks at John in tears as John hands him his mask
John: Here.. you're gonna need this..
Axel slowly grabs it from his hand
John: You're gonna have enemies.. and people will get hurt.. sometimes it's the people closest to you.. so I need you to promise me something okay?
Axel slowly nods his head
John: Leave.. Sky.. out of it
Axel looks at him, still with tears in his eyes
John: Promise me that..
Axel looks down, realizing that means he's gonna have to break up with her, even though he loves her with all his heart
John: Huh?
Axel looks back up at the Captain and slowly nods his head as the Captain closes his eyes
Axel, tearing up, looks back down, and he suddenly realizes that he was dead, as he started to think about the promise he made to him
He then screams out of frustration, because he couldn't save the Captain
He then slowly gets up and walks off..
**at the funeral**
Axel watches Scarlett from the top of a building
Scarlett: **looks up at the building, but Axel quickly hides**
I then realize Axel wasn't at the funeral and decide to stop at his house
Scarlett: Where have you been?
Scarlett starts tearing up talking about the death of her father
Scarlett: My father died.. they shot off rifles and made speeches.. 2 of my teachers showed up.. even Mark showed up.. everyone was there but you..
Axel: I can't do this..
Scarlett: Can't do what?
Axel: I can't see you anymore..
There's a brief silence between us as we both stare at each other
I then turn around and start to walk away.. when I stop and turn around to look at him once more
Scarlett: *tearing up* he made you promise didn't he.. to stay away from me.. so I'd be safe..
Axel looks at me without saying anything, and I walk off..
Aunt Rose: What a pretty girl
Axel: Yeah that's what Uncle Ben said
Aunt Rose: Did you ask her out?
Axel nods his head no
Aunt Rose: Why?
Axel: I'm just no good for her
Aunt Rose: Axel Knight.. if there's one thing you are it's good.. anyone who has a problem with that can talk to me
I then go upstairs to my room.. and replay Uncle Chad's voicemail message
**Back To Scarlett's POV**
Next day at school Mark approaches him and I can hear them horsing around, the bell then rings for class and I walk over to class
As the teacher is teaching, Axel walks in
Teacher: Mr Knight, late again but I'm glad you decided to join the class
As Axel walks to his seat I look the other way as he talks back to the teacher
Axel: Sorry Ms, it won't happen again
Teacher: Don't make promises you can't keep Mr Knight
Axel: *whispering* Yeah but those are the best kind..
I start to smile as he said that, and then I look down..
