The Truth Comes Out

As Axel and I walk to the balcony, there was a brief silence before I spoke up
Scarlett: Well that was something
Axel: I'm sorry you know I thought he was gonna arrest me at one point
Scarlett: Nah I wouldn't let him arrest you
Axel then faces down and I look at his eye
I was gonna ask him about his eye again when he suddenly faces up at me
Axel: I wanna tell you something
Scarlett: Oh! okay
We stare at each other and it's silent as I wait for him to tell me what he needed to tell me
Axel looks at me
Axel: I've been bitten
I thought he was about to confess his feelings so I smile at him
Scarlett: So have I
We then stare at each other's eyes and I laugh and then he speaks up again
Axel: Ok ok ok ok I gotta tell you this one thing and it's about the car thief and the vigilante
My smile suddenly turns into a face of disappointment but I try to cover it up as he tries to talk
Axel: No no no no nevermind we're not gonna talk about that we're gonna talk about me okay?
Scarlett: What about you?
Axel: I wish I could just.. I can't, it's hard to say
Scarlett: Just say it, say it
Axel then faces down again
Scarlett: Why what?
Axel looks up at me, nods his head no and faces down again
At this point I was feeling disappointed so as I was turning around to go back inside, Axel suddenly grabbed my hand with his long wasp arms and turns me around and I end up in front of him, with my hands on his shoulders
Scarlett: *shocking voice* y.. you're the b-
Axel then leans in to kiss me, and I kiss him back, and his lips pull away from mine for a brief second as our heads are still resting together
Scarlett: You're the black-
Axel: Just shut up
He continues to kiss me, with his hands cupped around my face as I lay my hand by his cheek
My mom then calls my name
Carol: Sky?
She checks the balcony and sees me and Axel together
Carol: Sky, um your father wants you to come inside right away
Scarlett: Okay
Carol: Kay?
I nod my head as she walks back in, when she realizes I'm not behind her she goes back to check on me
Carol: Sky!
Scarlett: I'm coming,
I walk back in as I turn around to face Axel, still shocked from what I just found out
Suddenly Axel turns around to where he's facing the city, as I stand by the door, looking at him
He then jumps from the balcony and when he leaves, I started thinking about what I just found out
Scarlett: *whispers* oh I'm in trouble
