To say Jungkook was happy that day was an underestimate. Jungkook felt as if he was flying across the galaxies. He skipped his way to the classroom grinning widely.
As he entered the class room he caught the sight of his two friends. Sehun was looking at Jungkook with a smug smile that screamed ‘I know what you did there’ expression on his face.
‘So Taehyungie huh!’ Sehun said. It didn't take much time for Jungkook to realize what he was talking about. His eyes widened as he questioned, ‘How did you guys know? Did you guys follow me?’
Sehun just merely shrugged in answer while Jimin stayed quiet. Sehun opened his eyes big and muttered Taehyungie again and again trying to imitate the younger.
Jungkook's cheek flushed as he spoke, ‘I was not acting like that.’
‘Yeah you were acting worse.’ Sehun spoke pretending to be puking.
‘Whatever,’ Jungkook said, going to his desk.
The day ended and today Jungkook has made up his mind to take another big step. As the afternoon events went on pretty good despite some disturbance from Bogum, he had thought of asking Taehyung to go home together.
He marched to Taehyung's classroom bumping into some students on the way but didn't care. Afterall, all he was worried Taehyung would leave before he could ask him to go home together. He stood in front of the class ready to call Taehyung but a sight caught his eyes which made him stop all his actions.
Taehyung was standing with his back facing him with another guy really close who was Bogum, Jungkook guessed. Their faces were really close and Jungkook realized they were probably kissing.
Jungkook's breath got caught in his throat. He stilled not knowing what to do. He remembered Jimin saying Taehyung swings that way but how could he not realize with Bogum and Taehyung being close all the time they could have been a couple too. Soon after he regained his senses and started running away.

Jungkook ran and ran with tears staining his pudgy cheeks. Not knowing where to go as he didn't want to go home in this state. He knocked on the door of the only person he could think of at that moment.
The door opened and a perplexed expression was on Jimin's face as he emerged from behind the door.
‘What happened?’ Jimin asked, seeing the younger boy crying like a child who just saw a monster under his bed.
‘H-hyung!’ Jungkook stammered and flung himself onto Jimin, weeping uncontrollably.
After sometime Jimin came out from the kitchen with a glass of water for the younger who was now sitting on the chair of the dining table. He knew about Jungkook's plan to ask Taehyung for going home together and he was worried if Taehyung had blurted out something unnecessary.
The younger has now calmed down a bit after drinking some water though drops of tears left now and then from his eyes.
‘I think Taehyung has a boyfriend.’ Jungkook spoke knowing that the older one was waiting for some kind of explanation and knowing he was the only one who Jungkook could rely. So he didn't even try to lie and explained everything to the older.
Jimin's eyes widened like saucers but much to his relief it wasn't what he was worried about. ‘What!’ He was a bit shocked about Taehyung's sudden dating news.
‘I saw Taehyung kissing Bogum in his classroom.’ Jungkook mumbled almost inaudibly though the older boy managed to hear. Jimin pondered for a moment about the different possibilities as he spoke, ‘What if they were just kissing like with no strings attached. You know highschool boys are always horny.’
Jungkook suddenly lifted his head which was downcasted till now looking at the older with shocked expression. He realized that could be one the possibility which he never thought of as he was busy weeping around thinking this is the end of his crushing. Does that mean Taehyung is some kind of play boy who just sleeps around. That means he has no chance with Taehyung. Jungkook questioned himself.
Seeing the younger getting lost in thoughts Jimin realized Jungkook never thought of any possibilities and just came running here. He rolled his eyes asking another question ‘Did you see them kissing? Like his lips on Bogum's ?’
Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts as he exclaimed a ‘Huh?’ realizing he actually never saw them kissing. ‘T-they were really st-standing close to e-each other so-’
‘So you thought they were kissing,’ Jimin said, cutting him off. Jungkook slowly nodded. ‘I mean they could be kissing who knows!’ Jimin said again, snatching away the little bit of hope he just gave younger. Jungkook again downcasted his head feeling like if he would have observed a bit more he would not be going through this confusion right now.
‘Anyway Jungkook go home I am busy, even if he was just kissing Bogum or in a relationship with him, it's not like you can do anything,’ Jimin said, standing up getting ready to bid farewell to the younger.
‘Hyung are you heartless! How can you kick me out in this situation. I won't be able to stop thinking about it and I have no one to talk. Yoongi hyung is also on a date. Don't b-’
‘What? Yoongi hyung has a date ?’ Jimin screamed which made the younger flinch.
‘Yes, he said this morning before leaving for University.’ Jungkook spoke wiping the tears by the sleeve of his shirt.
‘Let's go outside to help you forget about all this drama! Who can even stay at home on a day like this.’ Jimin muttered with a deep frown.
