So when Jungkook wished everything to go back to normal he didn't mean like this.
Everything was back to normal or so Jungkook wanted to think. But was it? Actually no. It was kind of back to normal time when Jungkook had not confessed to Taehyung, they were not in a relationship, they didn't act like a lovesick couple. The most saddening part was Taehyung didn't kiss him or even call him his baby or pretty boy.
Taehyung was avoiding him. Jungkook really didn't want to admit it at first but there was no denying it at this point that Taehyung was ignoring him. It felt like Taehyung was mirroring his previous actions. He can't really imagine how Taehyung managed to stay calm, well he exploded one or two times but leaving that he was pretty much calm about the whole situation of Jungkook avoiding him.
It has been four or five days since he had blamed Taehyung for everything that was happening to him and somehow whenever Jungkook tried to talk to him or initiate any kind physical intimacy, he noticed Taehyung was always hesitant and subtly tried to push him away. There were no romantic talks nor they sneaked to their usual place in the back side of the school after lunch.
Taehyung's big hand didn't engulf his own hand. Taehyung's plump and soft lips didn't mould with his lips. He didn't anymore randomly yanked Jungkook to his lap pressing his firm chest to Jungkook's back. Even when he texted Taehyung asking if they could walk together to the school, he would always decline saying he had something to do.
As if that was not enough Taehyung's auburn eyes didn't radiate the usual warmth and softness they had. Instead they exhibited nothing but hesitation and uncertainty. Never had ever Taehyung has acted this way before. He was never cold to Jungkook. Even when he asked to take a break in their relationship, Taehyung never acted like this.
Furthermore, leaving aside the Taehyung issue, other things were also not looking that great for Jungkook. Jimin and him were not fully comfortable around each other. Well it was bound to be like this. It's not every day you find your best friend going behind your back to harass you. They still had to catch up and solve all their misunderstandings.
On the other hand, oblivious to everything happening, Sehun still always subtly tried to avoid interacting with Jungkook. Though Jungkook was back to his circle of friends as Jimin started talking to him it was not like before. Somehow there was always some awkwardness in the air.
‘What are you looking at?’
‘I am disappointed in you Kim Taehyung,’ Minho spoke with a clenched jaw as his icy stare was fixed on Taehyung.
‘What? What are you talking about?’ Taehyung asked, not even bothering to look at the other boy.
‘Huh? What happened?’ Bogum asked, confusion clearly evident on his face.
‘Yeah, I didn't even do anything.’ Taehyung reasoned.
Inside corners of Minho's eyebrows slanted upward and he grinded his teeth giving Taehyung a scornful look.
