Yes, the student council president. He stuck by his side like a gum, trying to never leave his side whenever he was alone. That also meant always except when he was in the class. Because he was always on his own as his friends were busy ignoring him and he was busy ignoring Taehyung.
‘Hyung you know you don't need to follow me like a puppy all the time!’
‘But you don't know when they will appear again.’
Jungkook rolled his eyes. Like he cares if they are gonna appear or not again. ‘Hyung. I doubt they are going to appear again after you showing up.’
‘I told you to always stay with your friends or someone. Why are you always wandering alone.’
‘Nothing is going to happen to me hyung. Quit worrying over me.’
‘I can't. I am the student council president. Remember? I need to protect you.’
‘I can protect myself and don't you have any council work?
A deep sigh released itself from Namjoon's lips as he remembered all the piled up works he had to do. But he couldn't leave Jungkook alone, at least not when this kid keeps wandering around on his own.
‘Yeah actually I have a lot of things that need to be done in the council.’
‘So care to tell me why are you here?’
Jungkook peered at the older boy who looked like he was pondering about an answer. ‘I needed a break I guess.’
‘So then go take a break. You don't need to do all this instead of that.’
‘Do I make you uncomfortable Jungkook?’
‘No hyung. Why would you say that?’
‘Because you keep shooing me away.’
‘I don't want you to waste your precious break following me that's why.’ Although Jungkook had no problems with Namjoon following him around, he knew Namjoon must be a busy person.
‘I am not wasting my time Jungkook. I enjoy talking to you.’
A pleased look adorned Jungkook's face as he felt delighted by the older boy's friendly behaviour.
‘So Jungkook umm.. so ..’
‘What is it hyung? You don't need to hesitate to ask something. You helped me and even now you are trying to protect me. So ask away.’
