Rumours were flying thick all over school.
School's popular boy dating someone rumors spread like wildfire throughout the hall. This was the most shocking rumor that students heard floating around in high school. The presence of gossip and rumours within the school was creating a different kind of environment than usual days.
The school hallway was different today. The halls were crowded with people. Laughter sounds along the halls, joined with conversations and shouts. There was the couple that was always making out on the left side of the hall, and about ten feet farther down, the cliquey girls. Opposite them, the cliquey jocks, and between them, the some geeks but it didn't feel like the usual.
The whole building was sending a chill down Jungkook's spine and reminded him of something out of nightmares and he wraps his arms around his chilled body.
Jungkook kept his head down and pushed his way through the sea of despondent faces. He could observe the students staring at him with the gaze of a stranger, that aloof judgement with no strings.
As he walked down the hallway having his own classroom as destination he could feel those stares more and more. People were rapidly turning their heads in his direction and whispering. They were either giving judgemental stares or glares of envy. Sounds of small snickers or scoffs was making Jungkook feel the absolute need to cower.
Soon enough the door opened and shut, its creaking noise bringing a chill to his spine as Jungkook entered the classroom. Girls perched on the tables like exotic birds gossiping and giggling while stealing small glances of the boy who just entered the classroom. Groups of high schoolers that always sat around the room laughing and causing all kinds of ruckus, were now sitting silently staring at the brown haired boy.
‘Hey Jungkook,’ Jimin said from his seat, making Jungkook snap his head in his direction.
‘Oh, Kim Taehyung's boyfriend is here,’ Sehun exclaimed with a fake surprised expression. ‘Did you come to school with him?’
Jungkook didn't feel like replying anything as he just waved his hand in response. ‘Hurry up and come here,’ Sehun yelled, gesturing Jungkook to come closer.
Jungkook sighed walking towards his desk which was behind Sehun's desk. But Jungkook could not help but fidget because of all the stare he was getting. Some were frowning while some others had a bored expression.
After what seemed like ages but was only a few seconds after Jungkook reached his desk. Placing the bag on the top of desk Jungkook just sank in his chair tiredly.
‘What is going on? Is it just me or everyone is staring at me? It's kinda getting freaky,’ Jungkook said eyeing the other students one last time who were now focusing on their own business rather than glaring at someone.
‘Duh! If you don't know your bae is kind of popular in school,’ Sehun stated in a monotonous tone.
‘Hah as if he doesn't know. I mean all those staring he did like a creep all day, he must know Taehyung is not kind of but actually really popular,’ Jimin added making the younger boy furious and he muttered about how he was observing not staring, and to stop calling him a stalker or creep.
