True to his words Jeon Jungkook indeed called a committee meeting.
After much deliberation Jungkook realized whatever Jimin did was the last straw. So he decided it was finally the time to take some serious steps. After all it was not just about him anymore. There was Taehyung who didn't deserve going through all this.
It was not easy for Jungkook. He wanted to Keep believing in Jimin and their friendship. But truthfully there was nothing for Jungkook to hang on to. Everything was clear.
It was real when Jimin was saying he hates him. Jungkook was the only one who thought they were friends; or maybe more than friends. For Jungkook Jimin was always like an older brother who he could rely on. But on the other hand for Jimin he probably didn't even meant a mere friend.
After that incident something changed inside Jungkook. He no longer cared about Jimin anymore. Sehun and Jungkook finally decided to have a talk. Jungkook listened to what Sehun had to say and vice versa. And after a long and deep conversation with no lies, they realised everything was nothing but a misunderstanding caused by none other than Jimin.
Sehun apologized to him. Then Jungkook apologized. Both said, fuck it! It's okay. They accepted each other's apology. But they could not be as close as they used to. They realised it's gonna take some time and decided to let the time itself take care of everything. They greeted each other often in the class and exchanged small talks once in a while. But that was all and both believed it was a satisfactory start for another go at their friendship.
And about the committee as Jungkook had thought it was quite a hassle. With the school reputation at stake and the principal not wanting to hold a committee in the school, Jungkook had to face some complications.
Their homeroom teacher certainly didn't want to take any steps to encourage the topic. Not wanting to get on the bad side of the principal he tried to quieten down the fact that there was indeed bullying going in his class. He knew it was going to affect his personal evaluation.
Though surprisingly or not so surprisingly Jungkook didn't give in this time. He was determined and ready to do anything for making this a reality; set an example and give the courage to all the kids who were scared of those bullies to take any action. Namjoon helped him with that. Sehun and Taehyung were there too to give him the constant support and affirmation he needed.
But all he got in return was irritated faces of teachers. They didn't want to make a big deal out of it. As long as he stayed quiet everyone was happy.
Taehyung was worried about him. He knew going through all this Jungkook might start to believe there is no one for him and might give up at last. And was most worried about the scars he was hiding from everyone. And that thought alone terrified him what Jungkook might feel if he would be unable to hold a committee.
