My slumber awoke to the sound of classical music, which put me back into my slumber. I awoke again to a girl calling my name.

"Renesmee" the voice sang. My frail eyes tried to adjust to the blinding light, but failed. "wakey wakey" the voice sang again. "Alice?" I murmured finally seeing her and pulling her into a hug. "Awe good morning sunshine" She

"what are you doing here" "just checking up on Edward" her voice cheered down from her squeaky voice. "but I'm glad to see you again, I had the abosolte worst vision of you"

"about what?"

"you were bit whats what I saw!" she spat.

"I'm glad Edward switched you up" she led out a breath, in relief.

"everyone missed you" she added.

"they all know im back?" I asked.

"of course, once I found out I had to tell them" she smiled again. "I washed your old muddy outfit as well," she turned, looking at a piles of freshly folded clothing.

"oh almost forgot" she gasped, her eyes lighted.

"Carlisle wants to see you again," she said, standing up. " for another daily checkup, your long over due for one" she smiled.

"well then I'll leave you to it " she said, turning around.

"Just come meet us out in the living room" she smiled again, then left.

"Will do" I sighed, laying back into my bed. Checkups were unusal, but understandable. Carlisle checked up on me twice a month to see any different changes in my mood. Now he probably wanted to know if I had more human characteristics now or even more vampire ones. I didn't blame him for questioning, but having him there as well as my father usually made me nervous,
I got up and checked my clothes, they were indeed washed and sewed up. A bit fatigued, I slowly got dressed. Finally exiting my room to be greeted from Alice once again.

"Good to see you up and at em," "took you long enough" she muttered. "Care to join me" she looked at my dad and I. Aunt Alice sure does talk a bit much. I thought.
I could've sworn I saw my father chuckle a bit at my thought.

"What?" She turned around facing us now.
"Nothing" my father reassured her, smiled; After she turned, I smirked at my father.

We followed her out, took off running to my grandparents house. I couldn't keep up as fast as they could because I ran at a normal pace. I think my heart would give out if I ran as fast as they could.

We came into the house, without anyone inside.
"Guys?" Alice voice echoed though the house.
"In here!" my grandma called. Still very odd to call her that considering how young she was. Felt like an insult. We entered the kitchen, and saw stacks of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. My brown eyes lit up. "Renesmee awe , it so good to see you " she said, stepping out from the counter, & pulling me into a hug. She squeezed hard as I wiggled my self out her grasp.

"Mom you really didnt have to make all this food -" my father harshly said, being interrupted by Esme.

"its not for you" she reassured him. He smirked looking up at her. "Here, this might calm you down you look a bit tense" she whipped around, pulling a jar of a red liquid out from their fridge, slided it across the table to where my father stood. "Thanks" he took a seat next to me. To think they really drink blood daily is foul. To think I might have to one day is even worse.

"Thanks for the breakfast," I said, scarfing down some bacon.
"Where's everybody run off to?" I asked.
"They all went out hunting again, somewhere out west, they might be gone all day, I never know with them" she meekly spoke.

"When you're done eating go meet up with your grandfather okay" my father ordered.

"Don't remind me" I snapped back. He shifted his gaze to me and grimaced.

"Oh come on he's not that bad to be around" she chuckled, stiffly.

"No it's not that it's just awkward sometimes," I
"I barley know what to say to him" I shrugged.

"Anything about your abilities or any human features would be a start," she, cleaning up her mess.

As I finished I followed my father to my grandfather's medical room. He turned to me and smiled.
"Mind if I took a look at that arm" he asked.
Instead of answering, I glanced down at my stitches, kinda freaky having so many.
"Sure" I said finally, left my father and sat in his high chair.
My father stood and watched; My grandfather noticing his stare.
"You can leave now, Edward" Carlislie persuaded.
He blindly stared at him, but left.
He examined my arm and nodded. "stiched you up pretty well" he muttered.

We stayed silent until I told him about my ability to gilmmer, I showed him with the ray of sunshine that crept its way into the room.

"Just like us now" "but you should keep that hidden if you go back to school, that is"

I nodded, afraid of what others would think of me if I did return back.

"Looks like your already getting some acne" he chuckled, looking at my face.
"No way" I worried, looking into his side mirror.
"Don't worry its normal" he smiled back.
"early stages of puberty" he wrote down into a notebook.

"puberty?" I questioned him. I wasn't in school long enough to figure out what it was. Although I knew kids went through it.

"Oh , I'll just let you talk to your aunt Alice or Rosalie about that"

"Oh ok" I nodded.

"Any cravings yet," "blood cravings, I mean" He smiled looking up from his writing.

"No" I replied.

"Any tickle in the throat or burning even" he wondered.

"no"

"Have you even tried any"

I shook my head instead of answering, I didn't want to ponder about it.

"I can live without it right" my voice cracked.

"Of course, but it's better to get used to it" "if your ever in a situation.." he
"But I was fine with some of the kids I went to school with" I reassured.
"And that's good, but it's doesn't hurt to try it,so just keep that in mind." He smiled.

Relfecting on my vampire side wasn't as straightforward as I thought it might be.
