"I just don't get it! How could you be so insensitive about this?! We have four children! And three miscarriages trying to get to those four wonderful blessings and you just want me to give you another child when I'm not mentally or physically prepared?? I married you because you cared about everything I had to say and you listen to me but is this just going in one ear and out the other?? What's not processing!? I'm scared, and five kids is a lot, and you just don't care. I get that you want to try one more time so you can have that little boy you've always wanted and dreamed of but if you keep pushing me, we might have to break it off." Taylor crossed her arms over her chest and stared him dead in the eyes, meaning it. Joe didn't know what to say. He didn't think he was doing any harm by asking to have a baby.
"Look, baby-"
"Don't baby me! When your body goes through all the pain mine did seven different times then you can tell me that you love me and that you want a baby. Right now I don't want to look at you, I'm taking the girls with me to Selena's." She struts up the stairs to go pack her a week's worth of clothes and throwing outfits into the girl's suitcases. "Emilia! Come here please." The five year old walks into Taylor's bedroom, wondering why she was called in there. "Am I in trouble mommy?" Taylor looked away from the phone she was staring at to see her oldest daughter standing in front of her. "No baby, I just wanted to tell you that me and your sisters are going to have a vacation, just us girls! How does that sound?" She tried to be her happy perky self but it was just an act, she was still very infuriated with her husband.
"Yay!" Emilia jumped up and down, this made Taylor laugh for real. After a few minutes of cuddles with the five year old Taylor got up so she could load all of the bags and necessities in the car. At one point Joe wonders what he's hearing from the garage and goes to investigate. When the door flies open without him touching the doorknob he jumps a bit until Taylor bumps into him. They both look up and meet eyes, Taylor's gaze immediately goes to the ground, not wanting to look at him.
"Taylor I'm sorry and I know it was wrong of me to push that on you but-"
"If you have buts about this whole situation you're wrong. It's my decision. I get that when you're married you're a team but guess what, I gave you what you wanted four times and I'm over it! It's my body. If you want a son so bad then go have sex with some other woman! Because I'm not doing that to myself. I'm almost forty for God's sake! My body is very different from when I just had Emilia. End of discussion." She walks right passed him, forcing herself not to cry. In all honesty she wants a son so bad but when her husband is pushing her into it kinda makes her regret ever wanting another baby. She's also so scared that she'll have another miscarriage and she can't handle a forth. It took two years to have Emilia and that was with help from doctors. Those memories from waiting to look at a pregnancy test and it came out negative for years kills her to even think about. All she wanted was a child yet her body wasn't allowing her. Joe pushing so hard for the past two months has hurt her, it's not her fault she didn't have a boy. Scientifically its Joe's fault.
Wiping those thought away from her head she woke up her two youngest from their naps. "Brinley, wake up baby." Taylor rubs her three year olds back. The toddler's eyes flutter open into her mom's. She smiles and rolls over onto her other side. Taylor picks her up and carries the sleep girl to the car. Once she's all strapped in she goes to get Tate, her youngest. She's barely a year old and looks just like Joe. To Taylor's surprise her daughter is awake and jumping in her crib. "Well good morning miss sunshine! Did you have a good nap?"
"Yea." Taylor giggles at how cute her daughter is and pulls her out of the crib letting her crawl around as Taylor finds an outfit for Tate. Taylor finds jeans and a long sleeved shirt that says fifty percent mommy, fifty percent daddy, one hundred percent perfect.
"Come on silly, let's get your clothes on." Afterwards, Taylor gathers up her second oldest daughter.
"London! Come to the garage." She heard little feet hitting the floor and waited. "Where are we going?" She questions her mother.
"To aunt Sel's. Come on we need to get your shoes on, it's cold outside." Taylor took the four year olds hand and guided her to the closet to find her some boots to where.
"Is daddy coming?" That caught Taylor off guard, she didn't think that they would ask. "Um, no baby, he isn't. It's just the girls, no boys allowed." After the boots were pulled on London's feet she stood up and ran to the garage waiting for her mom. Taylor opened the door and helped London into her car seat. "Are all four girls in here?" Taylor checks and they all scream, "yeah!"
She doesn't hesitate to look back, driving to her best friend's house. She just needs to get away from him. Just for a few weeks.
She knocks on the door and Selena opens it not knowing who could be at her door in the middle of winter. ".....Hi"
"What are you doing? Its freezing cold out here. Get in here!"
"I need to get out of my head."
Soooo it's been a long time, I will have a part 2
