Chapter 1: A Strange Encounter

It's another beautiful day in the peaceful village of Apotos. The sun is shining, the water is glistening, and the happy villagers are going about their day. It was currently vacation season, and Apotos was at its peak when it came to visitors. People would travel all over the world just to get a taste of their famous and delicious Chocolate Chip Sundae Supreme! Mhmm! Sounds delicious! Even though the day was cheerful, Apotos never expected what would inevitably hit them and who would come to their village.

Meanwhile...

Meet Sonic The Hedgehog, Hero of Mobius and who they call "The fastest thing alive!" It's true! He can run faster than the speed of sound. On a normal day, Sonic would do whatever he can to stop the evil Dr. Eggman's plans and this day was no different. Sonic was standing there in a heroic pose on Eggman's space armada, ready for battle. Little did he know, he wasn't the only one prepared as Eggman was about to fire his weapons.

"Ready?" "Fire!" The Dr. commanded. As missles were being launched towards Sonic, he ran as fast as he could to dodge them. At this point, Sonic was running at the speed of sound, smashing througb robots and destroying Eggman's ship. Eventually, Eggman got ahold of the little hedgehog.

"Argh!" "You're not getting away!"

Even though Sonic was captured he had the advantage. The chaos emeralds surrounded him and turned him Super Sonic! He escaped from Eggman's clutches and destroyed the rest of his fleet until he got into the main headquarter where Eggman followed. Eggman pleaded with Sonic, "Sonic, look go easy on me okay? I'll turn over a new leaf I swear! Just give me a chance!" "Well this is new! Showing remorse Eggman? If you played nice, I wouldn't have to break all your toys!" the hedgehog replied. Right after Sonic said this, Eggman pushed a button trapping Sonic in an electric fence. Sonic, trying to escape, yelped in pain as the power was getting stronger.

"Oh, I've waited a long time for this! Fire!"

At the push of a button, Eggman released this newly awakened form called Dark Gaia. This purple ray of energy struck the planet and caused a massive Earthquake! It was so destructive that it caused the earth to fracture into pieces!

While Dark Gaia was being released, Sonic was still crying out in pain. The electricity eventually drained his Super form and the energy of the chaos emeralds. As Sonic was returning to his normal form he felt some strange energy transforming inside him. His gloves eventually turned to claws, his quills became sharper and became more hairy, and his straight teeth became pointed and sharp. As the electric field finally shut off, Sonic fully transformed into a werewolf-hedgehog hybrid. Eggman proceeded to celebrate his victory...

"Success! A brillant success! It's just as the Gaia manuscripts foretold! Now I just need to harness its power! Eggmanland will finally come to be!"

"You've really gone and done it this time Eggman!"

"Ah, Sonic! That's a good look for you! Festive! So long friend!"

After he said those words, Eggman launched Sonic out of his base along with the chaos emeralds. Pushing back, Sonic desperatly held on to the edge with his claw, but eventually fell toward the broken planet.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh", he yelped

Free falling down from Space, Sonic thought he was going to die. He suddenly got a green orb to protect him but eventually broke. He proceeded to fall on a small island with a windmill.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh", he screamed

He fell flat on his face on the ground. It took him awhile to get up but once he did, he noticed his environment. He was alive! Bewildered, he didn't know how he survived.

"What the heck is going on here?"

Observing his surroundings, he saw what seemed to be a maroon chihuahua with fairy wings lying on the ground. He walked towards the chihuahua to see if it was alive. The chihuahua eventually woke up and saw the hedgehog's face.

Immediately running away in fear, the chihuahua hid behind a rock and said, "Don't eat me! I taste bad!"

Sonic replied back, "You okay? Nothing broken?"

The chihuahua realizing that the freakish hedgehog was not here to hurt him, walked over to him and answered, "Oh, I'm fine Mr. Monster Guy."

Sonic, shocked at what he said, replied, "WHAT! Mr. MONSTER GUY!?" "Looks like things have gotten pretty ugly!"

"Yeah! Look at those teeth and those claws! What's your name anyways?"

"My name's Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog! And you are?"

"What is my name? Ahh, I don't remember!" the chihuahua replied

"What? You've forgotten who you are?"

"Yup, I remember something falling from the sky, and everything went all white. And then nothing! I can't remember a thing past that!"

Sonic looking concerned, "Uh oh, did I fall on him?"

The chihuahua, nervous, "Oh man! What I am gonna do? What can I do? Where do I go from here? Oof, I'm hungry!"

"Don't worry pal, I'll help you get your memories back!"

"Do you really mean that?"

"Absolutely! I'm sure we'll find somebody that knows you if we look around."

"Oh thank you! You're the best Mister Monster G-I mean Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog!"

The two high five each other in excitement and look at each other with determined eyes. After sharing a laugh together, Sonic suddenly sees this purple glow surrounding him and transforms back to his normal self. After Sonic transforms, he checks his body to see that everything is in the right place.

"Whoah!" the chihuahua said

The two go forth on their adventure to the windy city of Apotos where they quest to get the chihuahua's memory back.
