Chapter 8: Antartica Zone

Sonic, Tails, and Chip landed the plane back in Spagonia where they went back to see the Professor.

"Professor Pickle did you see the continent being restored?" Tails asked excited.

"Indeed I did! Very good job Sonic! Now all you have to do is restore the other six!" "I have a new mission for you, go to Holoska and get the Gaia Gate Key and defeat the Dark Moray. Once he is defeated, you will be able to restore the Gaia temple. Fair warning, Holoska is very cold and on the other side of the planet. Make sure to bring a blanket or two. And Tails, be careful with your plane. Those high altitudes can get pretty dangerous but I trust you enough to land there safely."

"Thanks Professor, let's go to Holoska!"

"Good luck on your quest you three! Don't let me down Sonic!"

"I promise I won't!" Sonic said. "C'mon gang let's go!

Tails and Chip quickly followed Sonic to the Tornado 1. Tails took off in the sky.

"You know it's getting pretty annoying flying back and forth between continents." Tails said annoyed.

"Well what else are you doing Tails? The world is literally being torn to shreds! We kind've need you!" Sonic replied at his snarky comment.

"You've got a point there bud. I am all for saving the world, especially with you!"

"Aww thanks bud!" Sonic replied

"Brrr the Professor was right about the altitude. It's getting really chilly up here."

"Good thing I packed extra blankets!" They're in the trunk if you need them." "It's just a little while longer guys!" "We'll be at our destination soon!"

"Thanks Tails!" Chip grabbed the blankets from the trunk and covered him and Sonic.

They were now getting closer to their destination.

"Alright guys, we're about to land! Hang on tight!"

"WHOAHHHHHH!!!" Sonic and Chip yelled at the same time.

The plane landed safely in a small village near a glacier. The villagers looked at them funny.

"Nice landing Tails, but it could've been smoother." Sonic said.

"Talk to me when you know how to land a plane." Tails replied back.

"Have you strangers come to visit our fine village of Holoska?" Jari-Pekka, one of the villagers, asked.

"Why yes!" Sonic said. "We have come here to recover the key fragments and restore the Gaia Temple here."

"Oh thank heavens!" "Finally somebody is doing something about this horrible earthquake! The whole village has been in peril because of it!" "Thank you for giving our villagers hope!" Ursule, the wife of Jari-Pekka exclaimed.

"You are welcome but there is one thing I need you to do. Can you show me the sun and moon gate?"

"Yes, it is right across the small village." Sarianna, a villager said.

"Thank you for your help!" "I'll get this place back to normal soon enough!"

"No thank you Sonic! On behalf of Holoska, we wish you luck on your journey!" Jari-Pekka said.

"It's my pleasure!" Sonic said. "C'mon gang let's go!"

"I'm gonna hang back here and talk to some of the villagers about what's going on around here." "I'll catch you later guys!" Tails said.

"Alrighty then, Chip let's go and explore!"

"Right behind you!"

Sonic and Chip ran through the snowy ground of Holoska which lie penguins dancing around the snow and glaciers to bobsleigh on. Sonic had a blast running and exploring. Both Sonic and Chip were warmed up.

"C'mon, let's go back to the village to meet up with Tails!" Sonic said.

"Okay!"

Sonic and Chip headed back to the village where they caught up with Tails.

"Hey Tails! Is everything okay with the village?"

"Yep, I explained to them all that's happening and that they shouldn't worry about it because it's being taken care of!"

"Awesome! I knew I can count on you Tails!"

"Aww thanks Sonic!"

Sonic gave him the thumbs up.

Tails' Miles Electric buzzed and it was a message from the Professor. He said that they have to go back to Spagonia to get rid of the other Dark Gaia monsters.

"Well guess we're going back to Spagonia!" Tails said.

"It was nice seeing you everyone and take care! I'm sure we will visit you another time!" Sonic smiled

"Thank you for your help o brave ones. We hope to see you back soon!" Jari-Pekka said

"You are welcome! Let's fly guys!" Sonic replied back.

Sonic, Tails, and Chip headed back to the Tornado 1. As Tails started take-off, the villagers waved goodbye. Sonic and Chip waved back. Sonic, Tails, and Chip took off in the cold sky awaiting for their next mission.
