On Monday, I met up with Davin at his locker. Davin actually rented a locker thinking he would need it but until now the metal compartment remains empty.

"I saw Hero with Sierra Davidson." He whispered.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"He even managed to hook up with a Senior." Davin continued to speak softly. "A true ladykiller, girls in every year fall for him."

While leaning my side on the locker, I filled Davin in on the happenings during and after the party. As usual, I would add in a dramatic flair whenever I quote Hero's words.

"Hot and cold. Never warm. I can't believe that bipolar of a-" Before I could finish my sentence, I was cut off by someone from behind me. I jumped slightly but quickly recovered.

"Bipolar of a what?" Hero asked nonchalantly.

"Nothing." I snorted.

Hero shrugged and just walked past us, made a left turn and entered the male changing room. I mouthed the words "let's go" to Davin and the both of us scurried away.

In the evening, I was back in my room on a video conference with Madison and Frank. They both shared one screen as Frank was in Madison's room. Nat had gone out with Cheryl so I was alone.

"How's your writing coming along?" Madison asked.

"Not much progress." I sighed. "Although I've kind of decided on a title."

"What is it?"

"First Times."

"I still feel there's something lacking but I can't exactly pinpoint." Madison frowned.

"I get what you mean." I nodded in agreement.

"Any response to your flyers yet?" Frank asked.

"Nobody came by the cafeteria to look for me today, sadly." I shook my head.

"Don't worry, there's still time." Madison assured and Frank was nodding beside her.

"Yeah, I would really have to make full use of the winter break. The materials I have right now are definitely insufficient." I pouted.

The rest of the call was on updating each other on recent events. I told them about Hero's party and the both of them laughed hysterically. Madison even teared up from laughing too hard. Once she calmed down, she suggested that maybe I should consider training my alcohol tolerance level.

"By the way, you need to give me your address on campus so that I can mail you guys your christmas present." I told them.

"Right! Text us yours too!"

"Alright, talk to you guys again soon."

"Love ya!" Madison blew kisses into the screen.

"Bye Ems." Frank waved.

I need to start brainstorming on gift ideas to get for the two of them.

By the end of the week, there were a total of 7 people who were interested in my flyer. Davin and I met them but none of them were approved by Davin. His reason was either he or she gave him weird vibes or their personality just doesn't seem to fit mine. Honestly, I thought there were a couple of them who weirded me out too. But I thought the last girl we met had a bubbly personality, she might make a good buddy.

"Bubbly? More like, eccentric?" Davin says.

"We still have one more week." He gave me an encouraging pat on the back and I smiled back in return.

Davin still has his last class of the day to attend to so we bid goodbye and split up at the hallway. I was making my way back to my room when someone pulled me into an empty classroom forcefully and closed the door.

"Ouch?" I whined.

"Sorry." Hero scratched the back of his head. "Needed to talk to you."

"About?" I asked, feeling perplexed. "You could have just sent me a text message."

"Well, I needed to talk to you in person."

"You could have also just dropped me a text to ask me to meet you." I frowned while rubbing my arm. "Rather than grabbing someone from the corridor."

I pulled out a chair and sat down. Hero walked closer to me and passed me a piece of paper. I glanced at the paper, then at him and back at the paper again. Taking the paper from him, I saw that it was actually my flyer.

"What about this?" I asked.

"What is this?" He questioned.

"This is exactly what it says it is?" I think my facial expression was somewhat distorted as there were a million questions going through my mind at the same time.

Whatdoesthisguywant?Whatthehelliswrongwithhim?Whydoeshecareaboutmyflyer?Don'ttellmemyflyeroffendedhim?Doeshehavenothingbettertodo?Ishetryingtolecturemeorwhat?Likeseriouslywhatiswrongwiththisguy?Hasheneverthoughtofhimselfasweird?Didhejustgrabmefromthehallwaytoaskmeaboutmyflyer?Doeshenotknowtheexistenceofaphone?Heisnotgoingtodropsomesarcasticremarknowishe?

"What is an experience buddy?" He asked with an intense gaze.

"Uh, you know, like a travel buddy but instead of travelling together, you experience things together." I explained, speaking as slow as I could, just in case this guy's peanut sized brain cannot comprehend.

"It sounds dangerous." He remarked.

"For the person?"

"No, for you." He rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry, I've got safety precautions." I said smugly. Not that I was expecting him to praise me or anything, but I certainly wasn't expecting him to look at me like as if I was stupid. "What? You want me to spell out my plans?"

"I don't think it's a good idea for you, unless," He paused.

"Unless what?" I prompted.

"Unless I am that experience buddy." He added.

Hold on, am I hearing things correctly? I need a moment to digest. Maybe the person with a peanut sized brain could be me and not him. Am I missing out on something such that I cannot see the same picture as he does? What makes him think I actually feel safe alone with him?

"Thank you for taking an interest in this but no thanks. I refuse to spend my entire winter break with a guy who equates women to food." I snorted as I got up from the chair that I was sitting.

I pushed the chair back under the desk and intended to walk out of the classroom but he blocked the door.

"Between a stranger and me, I would pick me." Hero argued.

"That's you though. I would pick a stranger." I retorted.

"Stop being stubborn." He sighed.

"Hold on, dude. Let me summarize. So you pulled me in here basically to just tell me that you want to be my experience buddy?" I gave him the bitchiest face that I could conjure and crossed my arms.

"No..." He answered hesitantly then I shot him a death stare. "Yes...?"
