I wake up. "Argggghhhh!" I scream. I had a nightmare. I untie myself, and stand up. I look at Rue. Fast asleep. I climb up onto higher branches. I look at the time, using the giant hologram clock on the sky. 10:14 it says. 1 more minute till Diamond is released.

I get up onto the highest branch. I see a bird, and listen to it. It whistles my tune. I go back down, and wake Rue up. I bring her up here. "What is that bird?" I ask.

"A mockingjay!" Rue answers. I just stare at it whistling, its beauty is amazing. How these were made I have no idea. I just can't beleive I am seeing one for the very first time!

A hole appears, and a white dot comes out, coming straight for me. I feel happy. "DIAMOND!" I yell. She comes faster. She is heading for Rue. Oh, no. I grab Rue and pull her to the under the leaves, and Diamond goes right on top of us. She flies back, and grabs me. She puts me on her back. "Diamond, she is not capturing me, and I am not capturing her. We are teammates!" She stops in mid air. She takes me back. "Are you ok, Rue? Have you got a dragon?" I ask.

"I am ok, and yes I do have one, but I don't think she has come out yet" Rue answers. A Deadly Nadder comes out of the hole, and heads for Rue. "This is Astrid" she says "I named it after the great dragon master's wife".

"Oh, Rue. They aren't married yet. Hiccup said to me specifically that it will be after the games. Hopefully their daughter Raven will come. Raven was born early" I say. She nodds her head.

I grab Diamond's handle. "I am going for a midnight flight" she nodds her head. Rue nodds too.

We fly up, and go up as far as we can. I put my hand up. I can feel the arena roof. I don't know how long I will be in here, before I die. I pat Diamond's head. She goes faster. I lie on her back. I am so relaxed up here. I have spent my entire life in Valka's Sanctuary, then Berk, now I might spend a month in the arena. This gives me a plan.
