A month later, I finally realise Diamond gets 20 minutes with me. I just spent it.
I walk around, kinda happy I am still alive. There are only like 4 tributes left. One things for sure, I'mnot going down without a fight. I have got cuts all over my face, and down my legs and arms. Once I carved a little Mockingjay out of wood with my prize dagger. I lofe it so much, I made it a pin, with the point of rhe pin from a parachute sent from Dylan. I put it next to Toothless. I smile.
I can hear a huge bombfire going on, and run towards it. Hundreds of dragons are tied to a stake, and are going to be loured into the fire. Lava starts coming, melting out of the sticks. It is going to melt the dragons. I run, and jump onto the stake. I start cutting every rope, and the dragons fly free. Not all of them. Still several left. I keep cutring the ropes, until I come to Diamond. I throw my dagger down, but hit metal. Diamond has metal chains on. She gives me a confused look, then a sad one. I pull hard on the chains. No use.
I just keep pulling, and nothing happens. I stay with Diamond, still pulling, never going to stop. I keep going. Suddenly, a Deadly Nadder's spike comes down and hits the chains and breaks them."for Rue" it shouts.
"For Rue" I answer. I don't speak much Dragonese anymore.
I grab onto Diamond's handles, and fly faster than any dragon. I hit the ground. "I am not losing you again, Diamond" I murmer.
"I'm never losing you, either" I get back. I give a huge grin.
We fly to the end of the arena, and shoot a plasma blast. It doesn't blow down, but shows our loyalty to the dead tributes.
We go back to a river.
I am in the river, bathing, when I hear a smash of rocks. I jump out of the water, and look around carefully. I hear it again, and see it this time. I run over, to see a body embedded in stone. "Reece" it says. I put mt hand out, and a hand grabs it. I pull it up, and the stone-embedded person is actually Raven. I am highly surprised.
I get her to walk into the river, and wash it all off. She isn't nude, thank god. I sigh, and she looks clean, again, except for a massive whole in her right foot.
I carry her down to the nearest cave. I place her down on the softest part, and pull out the rest of Rabbit I have. I feed it to her. She smiles. I grab out some beef jerky I got in the meat pack, along with some cooked Bacon. I feed it all to her.
I hear an announcment. It says something about...
