~day 6~

Leilani's pov

I sat down on my bed thinking. Nasir was still asleep and I was up because of a nightmare. "You know Lucinda is still alive right?" I heard her say. 'S-she is?' I asked her.

"Yes she is, and same for Augustine. They are just in a different place then we are." She said. I sighed. 'As long as they are alive I'm happy.' I said to her.

I know she nodded because I can feel it. I decided I'd go do something since I was up. I left the room leaving Nasir a note for when he wakes up and I went to the diner and got me breakfast. I ate in the dining area and thought.

The truth is coming...

Lucinda's pov

I was in the court yard of the castle that Adam lives in thinking. "I miss her so much.." I said to myself. "You miss your lover as much as me..." I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw a man, probably was in his early 20s before he passed, with an eye patch on and a servant's outfit. "Who are you?" I asked politely.

"My names Seán, but most people call me John. I was killed protecting my wife and children. My wife and daughter escaped the attack, but I didn't make it out alive." He said. "I'm so sorry...." I said to him. "It's okay.. I just hope they are okay. I heard that my wife did die shortly after that and my daughter was all alone..." He said, there were tears coming from his eyes.

I hugged him gently. "What was your daughter's name?" "Leilani..." He said. "Is your last name Yuri by any chance?" I asked him. He nodded then looked at me in shock.

"Are you dating my daughter?" He asked. I nodded my head. "I was hoping to marry her, but then I was brought here." I explained. He hugged me. "I'll be happy to call you my daughter in law... Just take care of Leilani for me and tell her that her father misses her..." He said. I nodded.

"I promise I will when I see her again. Maybe I can work out a portal between here and there and let you talk to her," I said, "not now.. She's on a ship, to many people around." I said sadly. He nodded in understanding.
