Chaoter XXVII

~Month 9~

Raven's pov

I woke up from a nightmare in the middle of the night. I hit my head on the bed above me, thankfully not waking up my roommate. I got out of bed and got dressed. I grabbed the turtle necklace that was given to me by my great grandma. I sighed and walked out to the front of the ship. I put the necklace on and closed my eyes. "What is your wisdom mother nature?" I asked to the wind.

I listened to what the wind was saying. "Stay with Leilani and Nasir til you guys get to Hookwood. Then run and meet up with them in Amberlilly. You'll see you sister there. Forgive your dad. He's truly sorry." The wind said to me. I opened my eyes and went to my dad's room. I knocked on the door.

I saw my dad walk up to the door. "Hey dad? I just wanted to tell you that I thought about it and I forgive you." I said to him. He hugged me gently. "I'm glad you did..." He said softly. I hugged him back gently and smiled softly.

It felt like this was the last time I was going to see my dad. "Raven I don't have much time left on this world. Please take care of you sister for me and your mom. My final hours are coming fast... I can feel it." He said gripping me a bit tighter. I picked him up and laid him in his bed.

"Tell Lucinda I'm sorry please..." He said. Those were his final words before I saw him close his eyes and his hand fall. I started crying and laid my head next to him. I know that I haven't known my father for that long, but it hurts to see him go.
