~Month 3~
Nasir's pov
It's December... My birthday month... Yay.. I sighed and looked out the window. Today was the last day of December and I honestly wish I could have spent my 17th birthday with Augustine. I looked out the window, seeing the sparkling water of the sea. It had small waves going across it.
"Nasir?" I jumped slightly hitting my head on the bottom of the upper bunk bed. "Huh?" I asked looking at the door, seeing a man that looked like he was searching for someone. "Uh yes sir?" I asked him.
"Did you happen to see a girl named Raven wondering the ship? She just vanished like an hour ago." The man said. I shook my head. "I have not. Why are you searching for her?" I asked him.
"I was going to ask her if she could forgive me... See I'm her father..." The man said. This is their dead beat dad? He had silver hair with bright blue eyes and pale skin. "I do know both of your daughters." I said in a soft voice.
"I want to apologize to both of them before my time comes, but my time is closing in on me." The man said. "We can tell Raven... I'm sure we can find her.." I said. "What about my other daughter? I think her name was Lucinda." He asked.
"She's not with us. She's still alive, we just don't know where she is." I said to him. He nodded, then I heard two familiar female voices. "Nasir!" Leilani said entering the room, followed by Raven.
Both were silent when they saw the man in the room. "Who's this?" Leilani asked. "My names Lyle, Lyle Aliston." The man said, "and I'm Lucinda and Raven's dead beat and evil dad..." Lyle said.
Raven was just quiet. Lyle walked to the door and he looked down at her. "You look just like your mom did... And I'm sorry for what I threatened to do to you kids. I know you won't forgive me, I just wanted to apologize before I die." Lyle said walking away.
I could tell Raven didn't know what to say. I wouldn't know what to say either if I was in her shoes.
