Adam's pov
I looked at my wall sadly thinking. Hearing what my dad said over and over in my head scares me every time. I just don't want anything to happen to my only child... Or anything to happen to his family and friends. "Adam? We have a new person here." I heard John say. "A new guard already?" I asked softly.
John nodded and I saw a man that had silver hair looking at me. "Hello sir, my name's Lyle Ailston." The man said. "Alright, John leave me here with Lyle." I said to John. He nodded and left the room leaving me and Lyle alone.
"So how did you die?" I asked him politely. "I passed away last night because of old age. I had told my daughter Raven to tell her sister, Lucinda, that I was sorry." Lyle said. "Actually you can tell Lucinda now. Because she's here in the castle. I can show you where she is and you can talk to her." I said looking at him.
"R-really?" He asked looking at me. I nodded. "Follow me." I said walking out of the room. I led him to where Lucinda's room was and knocked on the door. "Lucinda?" I asked
"Yes Adam?" Lucinda asked opening the door a bit. "There's someone here who'd like to speak with you." I said motioning to Lyle. Lucinda saw him and her eyes went wide. "Dad?" She asked looking at him. Lyle nodded.
"I know what you're thinking. I died only a few moments ago. Raven forgave me for what I did. I apologized to her and I wanted to also apologize to you." Lyle said. A second later both him and Lucinda were hugging. I was happy for them.
But in reality I was thinking about how Nasir would act the day we meet again.
