The bullet glowed with a faint blue light of coryllium as it sped towards the Intelligence, seemingly in slow motion. Elias could not tear his eyes away, but this time it had nothing to do with paralysis. The Intelligence had relinquished its hold on him right after Elias fired. Suddenly, the bullet made contact. It hit the Intelligence with such force that it caused an explosion of cosmic proportions, ripping the Intelligence apart, as well as knocking the onlookers back and severely damaging the great skyship. The force of it even destroyed the coryllium gun, which was supposed to be indestructible. Glael disappeared over the edge and Elias was blasted to the back of the ship. The ship began to fall, slowly at first, but gradually picking up speed. Elias stood once again on the rear deck where he had landed, and yelled into the sky an exclamation of joy at his victory. He did not seem to notice that he was falling, or that he was probably about to die. He also didn't notice that he had caught on fire, just like the rest of the ship. The flames engulfed him entirely, yet he was so caught up in the moment that they seemed not to hurt him. Then, with a spectacular crash, the skyship hit the ground, erupting in a magnificent fireball. Elias tumbled forward and lay still.
