Glael and Voss fought madly. Glael seemed hopelessly outmatched, yet he seemed to be holding strong. Elias didn't know if he should help Glael or try to kill the Intelligence. "Trying to kill me?" The Intelligence said. It could read minds! Elias slowly brought up the gun and aimed when his mind was invaded. The Intelligence paralyzed Elias, and learned everything that had happened through his memories. It found out about the assassination plan, the Union Government, and the Keystone. Elias tried, but could not stop the attack. It was the worst kind of fight, one that was one sided and torturous. Elias was dimly aware of Glael struggling nearby, in the small corner of his mind that was still his own. With a yell, he broke free of his restraints and turned around. Glael was running away, with Voss close behind. Elias dashed after them, fearing the worst.
