chp 28- My whole family !!!

It was just a week reaming for the marriage. No, not mine but of Ryan and Roshani.

Today is the day when I will meet my whole family. Rituals are to be start from tomorrow. Arav and his family are invited too.

Me and Arav are happy that at last we can finally be together. Our marriage date was fixed by Arav's family- it is two months after- on Twenty-five'th of Feburary. Mom and dad really wanted that Ryan wedding and my wedding to be on same date, but as Arav was called by his head officers for some mission he had to go. But as he promised he will be back as soon as possible. We usually talk with each other, but it didn't quench my thirst. I just want to see his beautiful eyes and that little smile he gives. His little gesture of grabbing my hand just to remind me he will always be there for me. I Miss him.  It's like I want him to talk endlessly and  just listen him.

Wedding destination for Ryan was at hotel where we are now staying.

"Niya! My child how are you? So long time after I have seen you." I heard her voice which automatically made curve my lips upwards and why not they are Kartik's parents. One who loves me like their own daughter. They always say that they wanted a girl child and when I was born they were so happy to have a girl child in family. And that's the reason I'm so much pampered!

"Pari bhua! How are you?" I hugged her tight. Pari bhua is Kartik's mom. It has been a while meeting her and her husband Pritesh. "So where is my son, who have forgotten us after comming here?" Her eyes now and then moving here and there around the hall.

"Pari, he SURELY is here, working as the same protective brother he is! Now see how he comes running." Pritish fufaji secured his arms around her wife and then told me to keep mum and I nodded fully knowing his plan.

"Kartik where is Niya,we can't find her!!! Have you seen...." And boom kartik came running along with two other.

"Wasn't she here just a while ago, where did she go." All three of them where now searching the hall while fufaji had hidden me behind him. I giggled and plan back fired! Shit!

"Mom, dad you Always do this! Niyu come out right now." Nitin ordered. And just as i was about to make myself visible a voice made me stop. "Nitin! You are going to be punished. Just wait there!" Now it was my Tina mami
Nitin's mom.

I turned to see Tina aunt and Nik uncle, oh! YEAH... now it's going to be fun.

"Mom" Nitin ran and hugged her tight to which her mom reciprocated. "I missed you" both said in unison and then chuckled.

"Mama, mami I missed you too!" I ran to them hugging them. K touched their feet for blessings.

"You always make me remember about I'm getting old." Nik uncle pouted and all of us just laughed.

My whole family is here. Mom, dad, uncle, aunt, brother. Can I be more happy?! I was smiling ear to ear while all of them chatting about their old days, Tina aunt and Nik uncle were classmate and got married after year after their graduation. Nik uncle always tell us the story of their college days. How my mom was lazy, which always get him get late to college.

Her never ending complain and addiction for chocolate. How my dad proposed my mom in front of Tina aunt and Nik uncle at midnight. Most amazing thing was my dad was so romantic that he got in my mom's room from her window and confessed his love and in next movement he held her hand taking her downstairs just to bend on one knee asking the permission to be his wife.

And of course, it was pari bhua who told me that how my dad indirectly told my mom he loves her by singing a song. And that's when I knew my dad is a good singer.

I was watching all of them chattering when my phone rang. I immediately pulled it out of my jeans pocket. Without looking at screen I knew it would be Arav.

"Aru! How's you, when are you..."

"Are you waiting for your Aru?" I just got paralysed just then and there hearing the voice from other end. It wasn't Arav's voice. With shaking hand I pulled my mobile from my ears to see the name on the screen. It showed Arav's name.

"Don't play prank Arav. " I said, my voice comming out hardly. My breath was getting heavy with each passing second.

"Go to the place where no one can hear you, or your dear Aru is going to" he paused and my heart beat accelerated "you know the rest."

"Who are you?" I dared to ask.

"Is it important?"

I looked around to see my whole family busy. Talking and laughing. I was about to take a step to inform them when the voice said "don't even think to utter a word to anyone else. And do as I say. I'm gonna give you five minutes. I will call you after this five minutes and till then remember to be in the palce where no one can hear you." The that rude voice was cut of by a beep sound of call ending sound of mobile.

I just stood there, not knowing what to do. Is Arav in danger. Of course he is an undercover officer, he must have lots of enemies. Should I tell dad or Arav's dad about it?

Arav is strong and intelligent, if anyone have really got that gut to steal his phone then he must be dangerous.

I just got my love, my hope to live and my bestie and now in just a minute I'm losing it.

Dad placed his hands in my cheeks and said "He is an undercover officer, he have cases that demands his time and even his life. Only god forbid if something happens to him, will you be capable of coping with that situation?"  I remembered Dad's words and today I'm in the same situation. And wouldn't deny that it's really difficult to go through it.
