Carissa's POV
It was just me and Niall, sitting on the couch watching Tv when realization hit me.
I needed to get a job.
I was making no money and I needed it to pay for expenses: like groceries and paying for bills. Plus, I couldn't ask my parents for money, that's too much to ask for.
The other boys went to work, along with Zayn. He told me that when he came back that we can head home.
My attire consisted of Zayn's t-shirt, and a pair of his boxers. I didn't have anything else to wear, so I chose that.
"I need to get a job," I say out loud, causing Niall to hum.
"What?" He asks, chuckling a bit before looking at me.
"I need to get a job," I repeat. Niall's eyes widen as he turns his body to face me, grasping my shoulders.
"No," he shakes his head. "No you don't."
"I'm not making any money and I need to," I tell him. What's wrong with getting a job?
"But if you get a job that means you'll have less time hanging out with us," he pouts.
"How do expect me to make money then?" I chuckle, leaning back into the couch.
"Don't," he shrugs. "I never had a job and I'm living right now."
"You're living off of the other boys Niall," I roll my eyes.
We both argue back and forth, and it goes on for about four hours. Niall and I being too stubborn to take ones side, we just stop arguing and turn our backs toward each other.
This is ridiculous, I need a job. I can't trust my parents to give me money all the time, because it's not right.
Niall and I haven't spoken to each other when the boys get back, and they seem confused when they see us.
"What's wrong?" Louis asks, looking at me and Niall.
"I suggested to get a job and Niall disagrees with me." I roll my eyes as I hear Niall shift on the couch.
"That's because you don't need a job," Niall scoffs.
"How do you expect me to make a living?" I ask him, raising an eyebrow at him.
"You can still make a living without making money," Niall argues again.
"Do you think I should get a job?" I ask the boys. They're taken back at my question by the way their eyes widen.
"Niall and you are both right," Harry shrugs. "You do need to make money, but if you do get a job, it means less time with us."
"Then what do you expect me to do?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"Why don't you move in with Zayn?" Louis suggests, causing Zayn's eyes to widen.
"Um I-it's just that-" My words collide together and I don't know what to say.
I don't want to say anything that will hurt his feelings. I do want to move in with him, but with the constant fighting, it's a barrier.
"When the time is right we can live together," Zayn suddenly says. I can see a hit of disappointment in his voice when he talks, and I can't help but look down at my lap. Everyone grows silent, until Zayn speaks up again.
"We should go." Standing up from the couch, I follow him upstairs to the bedroom and grab our stuff. Once we have everything, Liam heads out also to drop us off.
