Carissa's POV

My eyes flutter open to see the bright sunlight shine in my bedroom. Turning to my side and grabbing my phone, I unlock it and see what time it is; 8:30AM.

There's no use in sleeping in so I get out of bed and put on some shorts before opening my door, and head downstairs.

After cooking some scrambles eggs for the three of us--making sure that I make more food for Niall--I start washing the dishes.

"Mornin'," I hear Niall say. Turning to my side, I watch him sit in front of the island, "food smells great." He lazily smiles at me.

"Thanks," I return the smile and turn back towards the sink. The sound of a fork clinks, telling me that Niall's about to dig in.

I hope he likes it.

I've just finished placing the last utensil on the rack to dry when I hear Niall moan. I furrow my eyebrows and turn around, seeing him chew slowly as his eyes are closed.

"This tastes amazing," he opens his eyes and looks at me.

"Really?" I ask, walking over to him, taking the seat next to him.

"Yep," he smiles and returns to eating. I turn in my seat a bit before grabbing the fork next to the plate, and take a bite out of my food.

Man, this does taste good. My cooking skills are the bomb.

"Is Liam awake?" I ask Niall. Turning to face him, he takes another big bite and shrugs.

"Didn't see him come out yet," he says.

"Okay," I mumble softly.

We both finish our food a couple minutes later, and Niall volunteers to do the dishes, which I don't object to. While he's doing that, I place a fork on Liam's plate and make him some orange juice before heading upstairs.

There's some sunlight in the hallway, due to some of the doors being open, letting the light in.

Walking up to Liam's door, I place the glass of juice on the floor before knocking on the door.

"Liam?" I call out through the door. There's snores coming from inside, indicating that he's still sleeping.

After debating wether or not I should come in, I turn the knob and open it slightly. Picking up the glass of juice, I push open the door and walk toward the nightstand. Placing the plate and drink on the stand, I walk back out and look back once before shutting the door.

Just as I'm about to walk towards the stairs, I turn to my left, and look at the door I was about to go in last time.

Should I? Liam told me not to go in there. But he also said next time, and this is next time. Ugh, quit debating and open the door. Just a little peek won't hurt.

My feet pad down toward the end of the hall, until they reach the room. I can feel my hands shake as I reach for the knob. Slowly turning it, I hear the faint click of the door as I gulp, pushing it open. But I soon furrow my eyebrows in confusion when I see a normal room.

The walls are a cream color, matched with the carpeted floors of the bedroom. There's a black lounge chair placed in front of the bed, which is slightly unusual. The four posted bed has plain white sheets, and it looks like it haven't been used in a long time. A Tv is placed on the dresser of the bedroom, which is on the opposite wall of the bed. My eyes wander around the room until they hit the bookshelf in the corner of the room. Leaving the door a crack open, I walk towards the shelf and examine it.
