Marrying the Wrong Person; Marry Your Own God-given Ruth/Boaz

Marrying the wrong person, someone who God didn't truly give you, will eventually ruin your life that Jesus saved and is still redeeming. You can lose everything, even your soul ( if you don't leave before it's too late). Doomed marriages and their divorces also negatively impacts the people around you, your family, and your loved ones. God wants families to be unfied, and based around healthy marriages.

God will always give us someone better than whoever we would have gotten for ourselves. God-given spouses bring us closer to God, the closer we get with him/her. When we marry the wrong person, we start hypocritically seeking carnality, because that marriage is a union with the world, instead of a union in/with God. Being in the presence of your God-given spouse makes you want to be holier, not worldlier. God won't give us a bad marriage when the church is the bride of Christ. Yes, it rains on both the just and the unjust, but God blesses what He bestows. Marry your Ruth/Boaz, not somebody else's Ruth/Boaz.

John 3: 29 (NIV) "The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete."

Matthew 7:11 (NIV) "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"

Jeremiah 17:9 (NIV) "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

Revelation 21:2 (NIV) "And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband."

Genesis 12: (NIV) "1The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you. 2"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Genesis 2: (NIV) "23The man said, "This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man." 24That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh."

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV) "4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
