-------------------- 2 weeks later, on Monday.
After the first simulation, Kiana frequently came over to challenge me. She's been improving on accuracy and predicting moves which means that I have to move more on field. I guess it's not all bad since Kiana is improving and I'm getting some physical activity in.
I've also introduced 3 people teams the next day and most were satisfied with their teams. Just that some were mortal enemies and I just had to mix some people around while still allowing QTEs to work. I've given each of them information on how their QTEs are activated and left them to figure things out themselves. This is a good way for them to do problem solving and build friendly relationships.
The training started out with a battle simulation of what usually is the best each one of the group members can handle. That way, they're still used to the difficulty but are able to integrate QTEs into their battle.
Once they could defeat their limit in 2 minutes or under, I'll add 1 more enemy for each person. Each time they beat the 2 minutes or less mark, I'll increase the enemy number and level. I made difficulty levels that goes like what it is in Memorial Arena: B-A-S-SS ranked battle difficulty.
The time spent and enemy difficulty are tested every Friday and ratings are shown on a leader board.
The top is currently dominated by Kiana's group. It's kinda expected as they are the first group I taught and they were friends to begin with so team work was not much of a problem.
The group following closely behind is Fu Hua's group. I put 2 B-ranks with her as another 2 A-ranks would just make them overpowered. Also that Fu Hua would be a great leader and supporter for the other 2.
The top teams can currently challenge S-rank difficulty but none have done it in 2 minutes or under mark.
I feel like I've gotten closer to them. They ask me how to deal with different enemies and I even have to stay after-school some days for students who requested for extra time. This meant I practically had to work every day of the week.
Right now, it's another Monday morning and I'm going to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. Some girls approached me.
"Good morning, Captain!"
"I look forward to today's class!"
"I-is it okay if I sit next to you? I-I want to ask you how I should deal with Honkai Emperors." [A/N:not Emperor class honkai beasts, just the top of normal beasts. Think of them like mini-bosses.]
Oh, they're girls from class A-1.
"It's Captain?!"
"Hey Captain, do you plan on teaching our class too?"
"Yea! I heard how the girls from class A-1 are improving leaps and bounds."
"One of my friends from that class bragged to me about how they defeated a Honkai Emperor even though her team consisted of only B-ranks!"
And there are also girls not from my class.
The is a pretty common occurrence for the past few days. But there seems to be even more people today. Students from class A-1 are all top students so I guess other students look up to them and are friendly with them. This also means that the rest of school now knows about me from what they're hearing from my students!
I mean it seems great in anime to be surrounded by girls but now that I'm experiencing it, I'm not sure if I like the attention. It doesn't help that I don't like being in large crowds.
"Uh, yes yes. Good morning and hello to you all." Oh God, someone please get me out of this awkward situation!
Then the sky turned dark. I looked out the windows and the sky in the far distance still seems normal. So more exactly, the sky above the school turned dark. I also see that the wind seems to have picked up and the leaves on trees were shaking outside.
