Chapter 18 Emperor Class

------------ 3rd person pov, Kwun Tong District

Olivia's team arrived on site and what they witnessed was civilians rushing towards them in horror as Honkai beasts were chasing behind. The ones in the back were picked off one by one by the Raidcal class Honkai beasts.

A Cavalier class was rushing forward trying to pierce through a whole line of civilians.
Before it could do so, a ray of light shot straight through its head. The beast fell forward and was no longer responsive.

That shot could be traced back to Olivia Faa. 1 shot from this A-rank valkyrie can instant kill any regular Honkai beast.

Olivia found something odd about the scene. There was no Emperor class Honkai beast in sight.

"B-ranks, go help the civilians evacuate and eliminate any zombies. A-ranks will deal with the Honkai beasts present. Lookout and beware of an Emperor class Honkai beast. Contact the team if you spot any abnormalities." Olivia ordered.

"Roger!" The team members answered. They call their team the Serene Symphony. The team of 15 consists of 7 A-ranks and 8 B-ranks. Their experience and their bond definitely makes them an elite team although not as powerful as the Immortal Blades. Outsiders and even most Hong Kong valkyries don't know about this team's existence as they are only called when the Honkai threat level in Hong Kong reaches large scale. [A/N: Immortal Blades is Durandal's team that consists of 2 S-ranks and the rest are all pretty much A-rank elites.]

They quickly got to work. The Honkai beasts chasing the civilians were quickly shot down. Olivia even managed to instant kill a Templar class with a shot that pierced through its shield and went straight towards its head.

The close range fighters went to the beasts following behind and took them down.

B-ranks dealt with the zombies and guided the civilians to the safe houses in the city.

There were only about 40 beasts that broke through so the team made quick work of them. They only struggled a little with elite Honkai beasts and zombies.

After some time they met up once again for reports.

"Around 628 civilians were killed or have been turned into zombies....." One member reported and the whole team felt pretty down.

"Then we made the correct choice coming here. I wouldn't want any more innocent people to lose their lives and their loved ones." Another member tried to lighten up the mood.

"That's right. Once again, I'd like to thank you all for coming with me." Olivia bowed.

"Ahhhh, how many times do I have to tell you that you don't need beg us!" One of them joked.

"Haha, sorry." The team had a light laugh together.

"Alright then, everyone, let's hurry and help the troops in the city!" Olivia ordered.

They began running in the direction of the city.

Rumble

"Did you guys hear something?" One of them asked.

"I think it came from behind us." Another answered.

The whole team looked back.

Buildings in Kwun Tong were collapsing in a line 1 by 1. Dust and rubble were flying everywhere so they couldn't find the source of the destruction.

A giant white mass that is shaped like a ragged wheel rushed out of the dust and was cracking the ground as it rolled towards them.

"It's Ganesha! That's the Emperor class Honkai beast!" A member exclaimed.
