"DO YOU HAVE A MATE?"
DEATH KEEPS KNOCKING ON MY DOOR

NATALIE GLANCED AT THE clock on the wall, watching as the time ticked away. Most people would be grateful for mandatory counseling sessions, but Natalie was not. Sure, she had a lot of trauma from her youth, but she buried it deep within her and that was where she'd like to keep it.

"Natalie," Emma says softly, coaxing her attention from the clock, "This would go by much faster if you'd talk to me."

"Perhaps," Natalie says, "But I don't have much to say. I'm a really happy person. Like I rarely get mad, annoyed, yes, but not mad. I cry, but like only when I'm PMSing or a dog dies in a movie."

"The anniversary of your parents' death is next week," Emma says factually, making Natalie's mouth twist downwards in a frown, "What are your thoughts on that?"

Natalie shrugs, "I have no thoughts. I killed my parents. It's sort of their fault, but I'll take some blame."

Emma seems surprised by her answer, "Do you resent your parents?"

"No," Natalie answers, "But I won't accept full fault for what happened to them. My mother sealed my magic in an attempt to make me normal. She should have known that wouldn't work."

"How do you feel about being a hybrid?" Emma asks her and Natalie shrugs again.

"Wouldn't know, haven't tapped into my werewolf side yet. Josie and Lizzie are supposed to help siphon the magic, but they've been kinda busy," Natalie says.

After everything with Jo, the twins had decided to spend some time with Caroline in Europe. Though things between Josie and Natalie were already beginning to get a little weird since their confessions that weren't really confessions.

"You've been close to the twins most of your life, yes?" Emma asks and Natalie raises an eyebrow.

"Yes," Natalie says, "I wouldn't say they're the source of any of my deep buried traumas though. Well, Lizzie did spend most of our developmental years making me think that Hope was some sort of monster, but I can confirm that isn't true. She's really nice when you get to know her."

"And you have?" Emma asks.

Natalie nods, "She's sort of becoming my best friend. It was an accident at first but then I actually liked spending time with her. She kind of gets me, being an orphan and all."

"Well I certainly think you've had a positive influence on Hope," Emma says, "She certainly communicates more. She tells me that she's watching Game of Thrones."

Natalie smiles at that, "Yeah! She told me that she hadn't seen it, so we're watching it together."

Emma smiles, "Well I say that was a pretty good first session, wouldn't you?"
