HOPE AND JOSIE ENTERED THE SCHOOL to find Kaleb talking to Alaric. He looked at the two of them and frowned, especially at the sight of Hope whose clothes were dirty from Natalie's little surprise attack.
"Where have you two been?" he asks them. Hope and Josie share a glance, both of them trying to come up with a lie, but their time runs out as Alaric shakes his head, "Never mind."
Hope looks at Kaleb and then at Alaric, noticing the tense and worried expressions on their faces. Paired with the fact that he dropped the questioning about Hope and Josie's location, something was wrong.
"Have either of you seen MG, Rafael, or Landon?" Kaleb asks.
"Not since earlier," Hope answers before looking up at Alaric, "Why? What's wrong?"
"They're not in their rooms and I'm a little worried because it's currently a full moon and Rafael's bite is lethal to MG," Alaric tells them. The bite would be lethal, except Hope had magical blood, making her the remedy to werewolf bites.
"Rafael isn't the only wolf out there," Josie says.
Alaric's eyebrows furrow as he looks down at his daughter, "What do you mean?"
"Natalie went looking for Rafael. She didn't make it back before she shifted," Hope states.
Alaric sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose as he looks at the two girls, "You mean to tell me that Natalie is out there as well?"
Josie nods, "But she's fine. She knew it was us and she wasn't aggressive – well except."
Everyone looks at Hope and the dirt on her clothes, "She tackled me a little, that's all."
Kaleb raises an eyebrow, "She tackled you a little?"
"Yes!" Hope exclaims, "Anyways we have more pressing matters to deal with. Landon, MG, and Rafael are out there alone. MG could kill Landon and Rafael could kill MG or Natalie could kill MG or Natalie could kill Landon, you know I am not really helping her case, am I?"
"No," Alaric answers. He turns to Kaleb, "Get dressed, I'm gonna need your help."
"What about us?" Josie asks.
There's an obvious struggle within Alaric before he answers, "I need the two of you to do a locator spell on the boys. They're our main priority for now. Then we'll go after Natalie."
"Okay," Hope agrees, "Let's do a locator spell on the boys."
They go up to Hope's room, where she rummages through the trash, pulling out a piece of paper. Josie eyes the paper curiously before asking, "What's that?"
"A love letter from Landon," Hope answers.
"Why'd you throw it away?" Josie asks.
"Because I don't like Landon," Hope tells her. Josie stares at the note, as though wanting to know its contents.
