*few weeks later*
ZACH
I was working on the garden with Newt and I couldn't stop staring at him. He noticed me staring and smiled a little. I looked down in embarrassment.
I felt a hand go on my waist. I looked to see Newt standing right next to me.
I smiled at him and kissed his cheek.
Thomas came over and he started helping us.
"Has anyone tried climbing to the top?" Thomas asked.
"Tried it. The vine doesnt go all the way to the top. Besides where are you gonna go from there?"
"What about the box? You know next time it comes up"
"No we tried that. Box wont go back down with someone in it"
"Ok what if we-"
"We tried it alright. Twice. Trust me. Anything you think of. We've already tried. The only way out is through the maze" Newt said.
My tail went around my waist.
"Zach. Can you go get some dirt?" Newt asked.
I grabbed the little shovel and the basket. I walked into the woods and walked over a little lake.
I saw a little grave and it said George.
I then saw bones in front of it.
I looked behind me and saw Ben.
"Hey Ben. How's it going?"
He looked different.
"Ben?"
He ran over and pinned me to the ground.
"Ben. Stop!"
He grabbed my arms and looked me dead in the eyes.
"Its your fault. You did this. I saw you!"
He dug his nails into my arms and I yelled in pain.
He put me in a choke hold and I smacked him in the face 3 times.
I grabbed a bone and hit him in the head and ran away. He chased me.
"Hey! Hey!"
We fell down a little hill and I got up and ran.
"Hey! Help!"
"Help! Help!"
I ran out of the woods.
"Help!"
They all ran over when Ben and I fell.
I turned around and Ben put me in a choke hold.
"I'll kill you!"
Then he was hit with something and they pinned him down.
Newt helped me up.
"What the hell happened?" Frypan asked.
"He just attacked me"
"You ok?" Newt asked.
"Yeah"
Then Ben looked at me.
His eyes looked weird.
"No. No please. I'm sorry. I didnt mean it"
"Alright lift his shirt" Alby said.
"No. Please"
Gally lifted his shirt and I saw a little hole with lines around it.
"He's been stung. In the middle of the day" Gally said.
