*few weeks later*
ZACH
I have been a runner for about 4, 5 weeks now and I'm doing pretty good.
I was running with Ben in the maze and we didn't find anything.
"So Zach" "mhm"
"Do you like anyone?" "Um... I think I like Newt"
"Well he looks like he likes you" "No he doesn't" "yes he does. The way he looks at you. The way he reacts to you when you talk or anything. He likes you"
"You think so?" "Yes"
"Now if I were you. I would ask him to be yours soon"
"Fine"
"He has been calling me weird names lately" "what are they?"
"Tigey. Zachy. And kitty or kitty cat"
"Wow" he said.
We made it to the doors and started jogging. We saw a guy with short brown hair that looked like it was wet and a worn out blue shirt.
"Hey Chuck. New Greenie huh? How does it feel to be promoted?" "Feels great Ben" Chuck said.
I walked over and put my arm around Chucks shoulders.
"I thought no one was allowed to leave"
"We're not allowed to leave. They are the runners. They know more about the maze than any of us"
"Wait what?"
"What?" Chuck asked.
"You just said maze"
"I did?" Chuck asked.
He walked over to the doors and we ran over.
"Dude where are you going?" Chuck asked while we ran over.
"I just need to take a look" He said.
"You can't. Only runners can" Chuck said.
He didn't listen. He was about to step in when he was pushed by Gally.
"Get off me!" He yelled and pushed Gally.
"Alright. Calm calm calm" Gally said.
"Dont touch me!"
"Just relax!" Gally yelled.
"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" He asked. "Just calm down alright" Newt said while standing next to me.
"No. Why wont you tell me what's out there?" Greenie asked.
"Just trying to protect you man" Alby said. "Its for your own good" Newt said. "You guys can't just keep me here"
"We can't let you leave" I said.
"Why not?" Greenie asked.
